‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: Michael Cudlitz Says It Will Be Emotional, Yet Satisfying

The Walking Dead Season 7 will be airing in a few months. The AMC zombie apocalypse drama will be emotional and intense for viewers, but also satisfying, according to Michael Cudlitz. The actor recently spoke about the TV show and his character, Sgt. Abraham Ford.

There might be TWD Season 7 spoilers ahead. Do not continue reading if you don’t want to know what could happen on the television series.

On the season finale of The Walking Dead, Negan made his big introduction. Despite fans being angry and disappointed by the Season 6 cliffhanger, most are still looking forward to what is coming next. Who did Negan kill? Was it just one character or will viewers be grieving the loss of two, as rumors suggest? No matter what happens, actor Michael Cudlitz told the U.K.’s Express that Season 7 will be emotional, yet satisfying.

With who Negan killed being the main focus of conversations surrounding TWD, it’s hard to imagine that Season 7 will be “satisfying.” It was previously reported by the Inquisitr that a beloved character dies on The Walking Dead. Whoever it is, both fans and cast members will be heartbroken.

It seems that Cudlitz wasn’t saying the death would be satisfying, but the wait would be worth it. He was also referring to what happens throughout Season 7.

“I think for the audience it’s going to be very emotional, but also very satisfying as well. All the deaths that happen in this show happen for a reason, to propel the other characters to a different place. I think this is going to be effective in doing that.”

Negan, portrayed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is going to change everything and everyone on The Walking Dead. Season 7 spoilers state that all of the characters are going to react differently. Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, teased what is to come to Entertainment Weekly.

“Some relinquish power. Some accept it. Some fight it. There are people questioning it. There are people pointing their fingers. There are people blaming themselves. Other things happen that completely destroy people.”

More recently, Variety reported that executive producer Gale Anne Hurd spoke about what attracted her to The Walking Dead, which hints that fans may see a suicide at some point.

“What attracted me to [Robert Kirkman’s] comic-book series is that it is a story about characters on a journey into this new world, and constantly trying to figure out not only how to survive but what’s important to them, and some characters give up, some characters commit suicide, and they are constantly evolving, they are constantly meeting new characters; they have to determine friend or foe, and very quickly we realize that it is not the zombies you have to be afraid of, it’s the other humans.”

As for Michael Cudlitz’s character, Abraham Ford, is it rumored that both he and Glenn (Steven Yeun) have their stories end by Negan’s barbed wire baseball bat, Lucille. The actor would not say if Abraham dies in The Walking Dead. He would only tease that nobody is safe, not even fan favorite characters. This is something that has been echoed over the past few years by creator Robert Kirkman. No matter how popular a character is, that does not guarantee survival. At some point, even Daryl Dixon and Rick Grimes could die on the popular series.

What do you think of what Michael Cudlitz had to say? Do you think Season 7 will be emotional, yet satisfying? What did the actor mean by that statement? Who do you think Negan killed on the season finale of TWD? Find out everything when The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 23.
