‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7: Does Someone Commit Suicide? Gale Anne Hurd May Have Revealed A Big ‘TWD’ Spoiler

The Walking Dead Season 7 is coming up in just a few months. What can fans expect from the characters? Besides Negan killing someone with Lucille, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd revealed some teasers. She may have hinted that someone could commit suicide.

During the past few weeks, a lot of spoilers are starting to come out for The Walking Dead Season 7. There are also big hints that have been revealed by those in charge. Recently, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd spoke at a masterclass at the Edinburgh International TV Festival. She gave some big teasers on what to expect, Variety reported. It appears that she may have hinted that at least one character may commit suicide.

If someone does kill themselves in the AMC series, it shouldn’t come as a complete shock. After all, who wants to live in a zombie apocalypse in which losing loved ones is a nearly daily occurrence? There is also the fact that Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is going to change everything. In fact, Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead, teased to Entertainment Weekly that it will change many of the characters.

“Some relinquish power. Some accept it. Some fight it. There are people questioning it. There are people pointing their fingers. There are people blaming themselves. Other things happen that completely destroy people. The group is completely broken apart at this point. Negan has come in and completely shaken up everything. Loyalties are broken, belief in one another, belief in ourselves. Each individual is completely broken, and they don’t all handle it the exact same way.”

It was previously speculated by the Inquisitr that some characters in The Walking Dead will give up in Season 7. With the executive producer’s recent statements on what is to come, could Negan drive one person to commit suicide?

“What attracted me to [Robert Kirkman’s] comic-book series is that it is a story about characters on a journey into this new world, and constantly trying to figure out not only how to survive but what’s important to them, and some characters give up, some characters commit suicide, and they are constantly evolving, they are constantly meeting new characters; they have to determine friend or foe, and very quickly we realize that it is not the zombies you have to be afraid of, it’s the other humans.”

In The Walking Dead comic books, there are a few suicides. One is Carol, who lets herself get bitten on the neck. Since her brain doesn’t suffer trauma, she ends up becoming one of the walkers. Before Melissa McBride fans get too upset, it seems unlikely that Carol will commit suicide in Season 7. She is going through a lot right now, but Morgan (Lennie James) has found her. He believes in human beings and will probably help her deal with everything. However, that doesn’t mean someone else won’t kill themselves or attempt to when the zombie series returns.

Like Reedus mentioned, Negan is going to change everything and all the characters are going to deal with it in different ways. It is possible that one of them will be so broken down, emotionally exhausted, and traumatized by the major death that they won’t want to go on.
