John Legend, Chrissy Teigen Are The Self-Proclaimed ‘Real Housewives’ Detectives

It’s awesome to know that John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen are just like us because they are admitting that they have a bit of an obsession with Bravo reality shows, and especially the Real Housewives. In fact, Legend and Teigen consider themselves Real Housewives detectives. Not only are the two a power couple, but they watch reality shows, and break them down, calling out some suspicious details. And the couple wants to know more than anything, why don’t the women on Real Housewives ever acknowledge that they are on a reality show, and the sometimes crazy situations they find themselves in are far from reality? Legend and Teigen are our modern day philosophers of all things reality television.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, new parents of daughter Luna Simone, according to the Inquisitr, are social media regulars, who have each other’s backs when it comes to calling out trolls. Recently, John Legend went on Twitter and spoke to the media about the mommy-shaming that was going on, all lumped on Teigen. Legend asked why people were critical of Teigen leaving the house without Luna Simone, and nobody thought anything of Legend going about his business. Legend said that the couple are co-parents. If people called Teigen a bad parent for getting a babysitter, Legend wanted to know why he wasn’t being called a bad parent.

But of the utmost importance is Legend and Teigen’s scrutiny of reality television because they believe that something is less than kosher in the world of the Real Housewives. Vanity Fair explains how Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have gotten to the bottom of the world of reality television.

“John and I are starting to think that some of the Real Housewives situations are just for the show,” Teigen declared. “We’re the Real Housewives police.”

Chrissy Teigen Talks Celebrity, Fans, And Using John Legend’s Name…

Legend-Teigen are asking the tough questions, like how are conflicts that would cause real women to never speak to each other again solved by a trip or a dinner party?

“How come every problem is solved by a girls’ trip of people that aren’t even friends with each other?”

And even more importantly, when Real Housewives talk about money, how come they never factor in the cash they are making courtesy of Bravo?

“How come when Real Housewives [cast members] talk about their money, they never include the money they make from Real Housewives?”

US Weekly has crowned John Legend and Chrissy Teigen the couple in charge and the newly minted sheriffs in town. And though Legend and Teigen can talk about the Real Housewives controversy at length, they do it best on Snapchat, where they humorously share the deep questions that are on the minds of all Bravo fans.

On Chrissy Teigen’s Snapchat, she has labeled these queries “Real Housewives Police,” and those “Bravolebs” out there should look out. Legend and Teigen are donning the bearded police officer filter to get to the bottom of things and pull the very funny curtain back on Andy Cohen and friends. And Teigen, with the straightest face possible, says she is starting to grow suspicious of all things reality.

And Teigen wants to know who really goes on vacation with people they don’t know, and really don’t like?

“People actually don’t confront people in real life like this. They just ignore them. You don’t have to confront people about everything. You don’t have to have a dinner with the person you hate.”

And considering that Bravo paychecks (which housewives get the big checks and which housewives get less), why does this never come up on screen? In particular, there was almost a revolt on The Real Housewives of New York when Bethenny Frankel came back and got a bigger check than practically Ramona, Sonja, and LuAnn combined. This caused a huge dust-up, yet they all packed their bags and headed somewhere sunny on Bravo’s dime.

And while Bravo plays favorites, Legend and Teigen also have their favorite housewives. John Legend says that he likes the ladies in charge, like Lisa Vanderpump and NeNe Leakes, while currently Teigen says she is “all about RHONY Jules Wainstein.”

Fans out there are most impressed that Teigen has broken John Legend in, and gotten him invested in the world of Bravo reality. Stay tuned for more of the Real Housewives police with John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
