Mariah Carey’s Diva Antics: Singer Reportedly Must Listen To Her Own Music And Have Constant Touch-Ups
Mariah Carey is making headlines more for her alleged diva antics rather than her upcoming music. According to a new wild report, the “Elusive Chanteuse” threw James Packer’s laptop out of the window after he wanted to play some music by Beyonce.
Mariah Carey, 46, and James Packer, 48, allegedly had an explosive fight after the billionaire played a Beyonce song in their home after a date night, according to a report via Hollywood Life.

“To get her in the mood last month, he turned on ‘Crazy In Love,’ and oh boy, was that a disaster!” an alleged source told 9TheFix. “Mariah threw the computer that was playing it via speakers out the window! Seriously, just trashed it. She ran out of the room screaming. So the night was obviously finished for James, and they retreated to separate parts of the house. And she had a few glasses of wine to cool down.”
The Australian source also revealed that James did the same thing before when he played a hit song by Mariah’s arch nemesis, Jennifer Lopez.
“He put on five bars of ‘Waiting for Tonight’ and Mariah coughed out her [zucchini] at dinner, so James made a beeline for the Spotify and immediately put on Mariah’s Greatest Hits! He has learned never, ever to play another female artist in the house. It’s either Mariah, jazz or classical!”
This raucous rumor comes after Carey’s ex-husband, Nick Cannon, revealed on The Amber Rose Show’s Friday, August 19 episode that they had sex to her song “Hero,” according to a previous report via Us Weekly. It started when Amber Rose asks Cannon if he ever had sex to one of Carey’s songs.
“I’ve answered this question while I was married – mistake!” he reluctantly said. “Yes, I have. She didn’t like the fact that I told the world that we have sex to her music, but it was true!”
Rose then asked which Carey song the couple, who split in 2015, had sex to. Cannon stood up and proudly declared, “Hero.” He then showed off his moves while singing a line from the 1993 hit song. The model was clearly impressed and Cannon was clearly proud in the footage seen below.

Then, earlier this month, Carey revealed to Complex magazine that Packer is such a huge fan of her music that he even has various playlists that he listens to when he travels.
“Actually, if he didn’t like my music, then how would I be able to handle him being around when all I’m doing is creating?” she revealed in her August/September 2016 cover story. “It’s cool.”
Paparazzi also caught a glimpse of Carey listening to some of her hit songs, including her “Honey” remix, on her yacht trip with Packer back in July, as seen in the photos published on TMZ.

However, Carey’s rep has since denied these new rumors to Gossip Cop, insisting that the singer did not throw Packer’s laptop out of the window. A rep for the singer revealed that the incident in question did not happen. Besides, it was not revealed where Carey’s alleged wild antics took place. While it’s clear that Carey loves to listen to her own music, her rep says these new allegations are “false.”
New rumors are haunting the singer. According to Radar Online, Carey’s diva demands on the set of her new reality show, Mariah’s World, have been out of control. The series, which is set to air in December 2016 on E!, will give fans a glimpse into her life as she prepares for her “Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour.”
According to an onset source, Carey was up to her diva antics while filming. She didn’t want to eat anything from craft services and didn’t want to be filmed for “more than six hours at a time,” claims the insider.

“Mariah insisted that people only shoot her on one side, and she demanded to review all of the footage shot to make sure she looked as beautiful as possible,” said the source, who added that she needed hair and makeup touch-ups “every five minutes” while filming.
Mariah Carey’s cover story with Complex revealed that she’s far from the diva that she portrays in her music videos and shows. In fact, her persona is sort of a crutch for her so people can’t get to know the real her. Hopefully, fans will finally get to know the real Mariah Carey in her new series, so that these nonstop diva rumors finally end.
