Lady Gaga ‘Perfect Illusion’ Is No. 1 On Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks, Singer Celebrates By Paying A Visit To The Kardashian’s Complexion Clinic

Lady Gaga’s new single, “Perfect Illusion,” has debut at No. 1 on Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks chart, weeks before the song is due to be released. Lady Gaga leads a diverse debut-filled top three on the list, as Metallica’s “Hardwired” debut at No. 2 and Shawn Mendes’ new song, “Mercy,” debut at No. 3.

Lady Gaga first announced the “Perfect Illusion” title to her fans on Twitter back on August 17. The news of Gaga’s new song, set to release in September, pushed the song to the No. 1 spot on the real-time Billboard+ Twitter Trending 140 chart in the first day after the announcement.

This chart placement tops Gaga’s previous high of No. 4 for “Til It Happens To You” in October of last year.

Metallica joins Gaga at No. 2 with “Hardwired” after its surprise August 18 release. Surprise releasing material seems to be a pattern with artists now.

This song is the 32nd charting song for the band on Mainstream Rock Songs, going back to their debut of “One” on the March 11, 1989-dated list.

Newcomer and pop teen heartthrob, Shawn Mendes, closed out the top three on the Billboard + Twitter Top Track with his new song, “Mercy.”

The artist previously teased fans in a social media countdown during the tracking week and previewed several clips of it ahead of the song’s August 18 release. “Mercy” is the third single released from his upcoming album, Illuminate.

Lady Gaga celebrated her recent success on the charts by taking a trip to the Kardashian’s favorite complexion clinic, Epione, in Beverly Hills on Monday.

The 30-year-old singer showed off her slim legs and body of tats in a pair of denim cutoffs and a low-back bodysuit. She paired her outfit with a pair of high-top Converse sneakers and sunglasses.

The singer has been actively working on her latest album. Gaga has been focusing on her work since previously taking some time away from her estranged fiance, Taylor Kinney, back in July.

Lady Gaga was also recently announced as the star of the upcoming remake of the film, A Star Is Born, featuring Bradley Cooper as both director and actor. Production is set to start in early 2017.

Per Variety, Bradley Cooper had allegedly met with dozens of actresses for the role after Beyonce bowed out due to scheduling conflicts. Sources say that Gaga was high up on Cooper’s list nevertheless.

Gaga has already made a huge name for herself as an international pop star but has recently been spending more time expanding on her acting career. You can catch Gaga in her critically acclaimed performance in American Horror Story. The actress earned a Golden Globe for “Best Actress In A Mini-Series.”

Gaga also scored herself an Oscar nomination for her song, “Til It Happens To You” from the documentary, The Hunting Ground.

Lady Gaga has surely achieved an astounding amount of success in the eight years since she arrived on the entertainment scene.

Gaga may be adding composer to her list of many talents. She is alleged to be composing music for Bradley Cooper on A Star Is Born, as well as acting in it, according to the Inquisitr. Gaga will be composing and performing original music for the film.

While not much has been released about when we can expect Lady Gaga’s fifth studio album to be released, “Perfect Illusion” is going to have to hold fans over in the meantime.
