Hailey Baldwin Tries To Keep Up With Kendall Jenner And Gigi Hadid

Hailey Baldwin is trying to make a name for herself in both the fashion and beauty industry. She is coming out with a limited edition makeup collection with Australian beauty company ModelCo.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, the Hailey Baldwin for ModelCo collection includes 25 products ranging in price from $19 for a lipstick or lip gloss to $42 for a contouring palette. Baldwin helped come up with the colors and products, and also came up with the idea of incorporating the social media hashtag #TheBeautySquad to promote her collection with both her Instagram and Twitter followers, according to ModelCo founder and chief executive officers Shelley Barrett.

Baldwin already took to social media to announce her makeup collection and hashtag on Sunday, Aug. 21. In addition, she will travel to Sydney in November to shoot her first-ever campaign on Bondi Beach, according to Barrett.

“The Hailey Baldwin for ModelCo range is all about my signature go-to beauty products,” Baldwin said in a recent statement. “I have always loved the world of beauty and was thrilled to be given the chance to show my creativity by collaborating with a cult-cool brand like ModelCo. I feel that ModelCo has a modern, innovative approach to beauty and I love that my fans can now create my personal beauty style.”

In a new interview with Vogue, Baldwin revealed some of her must-have beauty essentials. It was also reported that she’s made her foray into the beauty and fashion worlds with her previous collaboration with The Daily Edited along with her involvement with Kylie Jenner, who already has her own growing beauty empire. Baldwin says that she loves to use highlighter as well as coconut oil for getting her glow on.

It looks like Hailey is trying to keep up with her model friends, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, both of which have their own makeup collections. Earlier this year, Jenner launched her first-ever The Estee Edit by Estee Lauder Makeup Collection in order to attract a younger crowd. Hadid is currently the face of the Maybelline Makeup Line. But, rumors have been swirling that the blonde beauty may have her own makeup collaboration with Maybelline, according to InStyle.

In a recent interview with PeopleStyle, Baldwin openly revealed that she doesn’t have the same supermodel status as her famous friends do. She admitted that she’s not ready for that status yet as she’s not on the same level as Jenner and Hadid.

“I’m not on the same level as Gigi and Kendall,” she told PeopleStyle at Coach’s Friends of the High Line Summer Party in New York back in June. “We’re not in the same place in our careers.”

Baldwin also admitted that she and her two gal pals don’t see each other as frequently as their social media accounts or paparazzi photos would imply.

“We don’t get to hang out that often!” she said, adding that their modeling “schedules are just so crazy. We’re all friends. We all have the same job, but we aren’t together that often, especially as a trio.”

“I see Kendall more often than anybody, but it just so happened the three of us were in town at the same time,” Baldwin said, referring to the time the threesome was snapped hanging out together on the streets of New York City early on in the summer.

Still, the friendship between Jenner and Baldwin is so strong that they got matching tattoos, in which Jenner designed.

“I knew I wanted something on these fingers to go together when I put my hands together,” she added. “[Jenner] was like, ‘Why don’t you get ‘PRAY’ since you go to church and it’s a big part of your life?’ She’s a clever cookie, that one.”
