Ray J Ties Knot With Woman Who Beat Him And Cracked His Ribs, Did He Get A Prenup?
Love & Hip Hop Hollywood stars Ray J and Princess Love finally exchanged “I do’s” amid a rather tumultuous relationship that once reportedly turned violent.
A report from VH1 confirmed the wedding at Vibiana Cathedral in Los Angeles, which was attended by the singer/realty stars’ close friends and family. Rapper The Game was reportedly one of the groomsmen, along with Jackie Long of Love & Hip Hop and Ray J’s manager Cash Jones.
His sister, Brandy, also sang for the couple’s first dance—the Etta James classic “At Last.” Also singing at the wedding was Anthony Hamilton.
In an earlier interview with People, Ray J said that he’s anxious to give Princess Love the wedding of her dreams. He stated that he wants the ceremony to be a day that she would remember for the rest of her life.
“Even when I wasn’t with her, I told my friends ‘She the one, she the one.’ It was just something about how I felt when she was around me,” he said.

For her part, Princess Love said that she knew all along that she would end up with Ray J.
“He’s the only person I’ve ever been with that I couldn’t see myself without,” she added.
The wedding coordinators, Darryl Wilson and Diann Valentine, also told the magazine that the couple requested the reception to reflect a dreamlike royal ball that is “fit for a princess and prince.”
The wedding was a happy ending indeed for the couple, whose relationship has been tumultuous, to say the least. Back in 2014, TMZ reported of an ugly spat between Ray J and Princess Love where the reality star even threatened suicide.
The report said that Ray J called 911 to dispatch police officers to their home when she apparently threatened to kill herself. He said that there was a gun in the house, which is why he was afraid that she would follow up on her threat.
It didn’t help that his best friend, Earl Hayes, had just shot himself fueling the fears of the music producer. Fortunately, nothing happened.
Last year, Ray J took back the Bentley that he gifted Princess Love after another nasty breakup. But the fashion designer insisted that she was the one paying the note, although the luxury car was under Ray J’s name.
There was also the time when Princess Love was arrested after she broke Ray J’s ribs and ACL during a particularly violent fight. That altercation may be one of the reasons his mother insisted that the couple sign a prenup, as shown in a recent episode of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.

By now, people know that Ray J was the man in the Kim Kardashian sex videos when they were leaked back in 2007. The racy clips were instrumental in launching the Kardashian empire, which now includes a reality TV series, gaming app, clothing apparel, makeup and dozens of product endorsements.
Ray J is an accomplished singer and music producer who collaborated with the likes of Lil Kim, Pharell, Yung Berg, Lil Wayne and Shorty Mac. He has produced and sung over a hundred songs in his music career.
Last December, Ray J spared no expense when he proposed to Princess Love. In fact, he rented an entire jet to fly her friends and parents to the location where he presented her with an engagement. The couple’s wedding ceremony will be aired in an upcoming episode of Love & Hip Hop.
