Taylor Swift And Tom Hiddleston Dispel Breakup Rumors, Tom Reveals Something He Loves About Taylor

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have finally responded to the rumors that their love story is over, and neither half of Hiddleswift had to speak a word to prove that they're still very much together.

As Elle reports, some of Taylor and Tom's fans are worried because it's been over two weeks since the singer and the actor have been spotted together. These fans became even more concerned on Thursday when Taylor revealed that she was spending time gardening with her parents in Rhode Island instead of hanging out with Tom, who is currently in Los Angeles campaigning for the Emmy Awards.

"I'm just doing some major gardening today," Taylor Swift said in a live Instagram video. "This is what we used to do, back on the farm except not with kale…"

As People points out, the greens Swift and her family used to grow were not edible; they used to live on a Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania.

Swift didn't just return to Instagram after a week-long hiatus to test out its new Stories feature and inform her fans that she was having fun at her low-key "garden party." As E! News reports, she also started following Loki on the social media site. Tom Hiddleston joined Instagram on Tuesday, but he didn't follow his girlfriend right away. Instead, the Night Manager star proceeded to follow no one and shared a photo of himself dressed up like his Thor: Ragnarok character.

Hiddleston didn't follow Swift until Friday, but TIME reports that she was the very first person he chose to bestow that honor upon. She followed him back, and now all is right in the world of Hiddleswifties.

Tom Hiddleston is currently only following 17 people, and Robert Downey, Jr. got to join this exclusive club despite welcoming Tom to Instagram by poking fun at his infamous Taylor Swift tank top.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Tom responded to Robert's Instagram post by saying that his Avengers costar is a very "sweet" guy and that he views his social media teasing as "an expression of mutual admiration." In other words, he's not offended or angry that Robert Downey, Jr. mocked his "I <3 T.S." tank top.

Tom hasn't mentioned his famous girlfriend by name during any of his Emmy campaign interviews, but he had a lot to say about Taylor Swift's chosen profession during a SAG-AFTRA Q&A. The actor hinted that he's a huge fan of girls who shed teardrops on their guitars when he gushed about the emotional impact musicians like Taylor have on their fans.

"I really have such respect for musicians and for singers because they're so naked. Actors get to hide behind character, even though we're really expressing ourselves, but people don't tell that," Hiddleston said.

The actor went on to reveal that he really admires singer-songwriters who use their own lives as musical inspiration and inspire fans by sharing their raw emotional reactions to their life experiences.

"But musical performers are up there and it's them," he continued. "I have a guitar and this is the song I wrote, this is how I feel. But the power you have to make people feel good is extraordinary and that's the reason why these performers are unstoppable."

During an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Hiddleston was asked to respond to a fan's question about how he feels about the steady stream of tabloid stories about his relationship with Swift. According to the actor, fans shouldn't believe everything they read about his girlfriend.

"I've learned that there are many sides to a story, and that sometimes there are a lot of stories out there which are false and the hardest thing is to try to not let those falsehoods affect your own life, that's what I would say," he said.

The Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston fans who spend too much time worrying about the state of their favorite couple's relationship definitely feel Hiddleston's pain.
