Arnold Schwarzenegger has made a shocking declaration that Maria Shriver confronted him about his secret love child during a couple’s therapy session. The actor-turned-governor-turned-actor again also revealed that Maria had suspected the child was his for years.
In his new book, which was obtained by the New York Daily News , Arnold revealed facts from his couple’s therapy session including that he was still “turned on” by Maria during his affair.
According to Arnold, the therapy session occurred in 2011, the day after he left the California governorship. At the time of the session, he believed they were headed for “routine marriage counseling” but instead he was confronted point blank by Maria Shriver in regards to his love child.
In the book, Arnold Scwarzenegger admits that he tried at first to cover up the love child story with lies, ultimately realizing they wouldn’t work. Eventually Arnold admitted to supporting the child while calling his actions a big mistakes.
Arnold did not have much of a leg to stand on in his attempts to brush the issue under the table; according to the actor, the maid had already told his wife about the love child.
The couple have no plans to reconcile with various sources reporting that the former long-time Hollywood couple has “moved on” with their lives.
Other tidbits of information from the upcoming Schwarzenegger book have not been revealed at this time.
