Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei Blasts Fans Accusing Her Of A Feud With Camila Cabello

Fifth Harmony star Normani Kordei is taking to social media to speak out about the swirling rumors accusing her of being locked in a pretty nasty feud with bandmate Camila Cabello.

After fans began to speculate that Normani was throwing a whole lot of shade at her bandmate Camila Cabello in a new interview, Kordei took to Twitter on August 5 to directly address the rumors via a pretty lengthy statement.

Describing the recent reports of a feud between the Fifth Harmony girls as being “completely blown out of proportion,” Normani told her more than one million followers that the drama rumors were “foolish” and “manufactured.”

“It is a shame that after four years together as a group I have to address foolishness manufactured by those that have absolutely no idea what goes on,” Normani wrote of the Fifth Harmony feud claims. “I have shown nothing but commitment for the success of Fifth Harmony even promoting on my days off but yet I always find myself as the target of unjust hate and slander.”

“I have love and respect for all four of my bandmates whether you choose to believe it or not,” Normani then continued, referring to her Fifth Harmony bandmates Camila, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke and Lauren Jauregui.

Normani then continued her lengthy post by slamming reporters and fans who speculated that there was serious drama within the Fifth Harmony camp.

“For those of you who enjoy speculating and creating drama that doesn’t exist, please keep in mind that myself and the other girls in the group are PEOPLE, we feel hurt and sadness just like everyone else,” the Fifth Harmony star tweeted.

“This is our story so let us write it our way, instead of you trying to write it for us,” Normani added on behalf of her Fifth Harmony bandmates. “I have seen many things throughout these past four years that could’ve changed me as a person but I continue to smile through it all.”

Normani’s big Fifth Harmony feud denial comes just days after a slew of reports and fans speculated that the Fifth Harmony star put Camila on blast in a recent interview with Galore, where she appeared to hesitate when asked to compliment the star.

As reported by Perez Hilton, Normani was asked during an interview with Galore to describe her Fifth Harmony bandmates in just one word and quickly described Ally Brooke as being “sunshine”, Dinah Jane as a “turn up queen” and Lauren Jauregui as a “therapist,” but paused and mumbled when attempting to describe Camila.

“She is… let’s see… Camila. Very quirky. Yeah,” Normani replied of the Fifth Harmony star. “Very quirky. Cute.”

Fifth Harmony fans were quick to speculate that Normani’s hesitation was her way of throwing some serious shade Camila’s way after months of speculation that Cabello and her fellow Fifth Harmony bandmates don’t always get along.

Normani’s big feud denial also came just days after Hollywood Life reported that there was friction within the band, as a Fifth Harmony insider claimed that the members of the girl group “get on each other’s nerves.”

“The girls are with each other constantly, so anytime away is a breath of fresh air because they all get on each other’s nerves,” a source told the site, but denied that a feud was ripping the band apart.

“It is not something that is going to break them up anytime soon,” the insider said of Fifth Harmony’s alleged feud. “They know that they are at the cusp of something more, and they may eventually go their separate ways, but they also don’t want to leave money on the table.”
