Is Julian Assange Hacking Donald Trump’s Tax Returns? [VIDEO]

Is Julian Assange hacking Donald Trump’s tax returns, and don’t you really want him to? Since the fallout from the DNC leak, it’s been on top of everyone’s mind. It’s also what everyone seems to secretly want. The DNC fallout has been vast, while Trump appears unscathed. Since Assange has been leaking information that directly impacts Clinton’s campaign, many people question if Assange secretly wants Trump to be elected. Assange has denied the claim and revealed he and Wikileaks are working on hacking into Trump’s taxes.

Julian Assange is the editor of the whistleblower site Wikileaks. He appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher and to say things were a little heated is a bit of an understatement. Maher really laid into Assange and pressed the question if he was in fact in cahoots with Russia. You can see the full video of Assange’s interview with Maher below. It appears no one really wants to accept the fact that the DNC leaks do prove the committee was slanting media coverage in Hillary Clinton’s favor and wants to focus on how it benefits Russia if Trump or someone else is president. Again, Assange kept his source secret, but reminded the public that the real source of the DNC leak was the DNC. It’s not like Russia was making up emails and planting them in computers somewhere.

One thing about Bill Maher is he starts and ends his show politely, but what happens in the middle is where the real meat is. He gave Julian a nice greeting, then asked if leaking documents from the DNC was “fair game” since the DNC isn’t a government. He also stated that donor’s social security numbers and credit card numbers were leaked. Julian Assange has repeatedly said that social security numbers weren’t released in the emails on Wikileaks. He also pointed out that many organizations and hackers have been in the DNC computers for approximately two years. Wikileaks and Julian Assange have received a great deal of backlash from Democrats who feel Julian is working on behalf of Russia with a secret plan to destroy Hillary Clinton because of a personal vendetta.

It appears people are overlooking what the DNC did to Bernie Sanders and are viewing Hillary Clinton as a victim of Russia’s wrath and Assange’s assumed hatred of her. Many Democrats are overlooking the emails entirely, not reading them and are choosing to ignore or understate their content. It appears many news outlets are presenting the DNC leak the same way. It seems no one is as thrilled with the leak as Donald Trump, Assange and possibly Putin.

When Bill Maher asked if the DNC leak was fair game, Assange replied that it was definitely “good fun.” Assange pointed to other political campaigns they leaked documents, then answered Maher’s question in detail.

“I’m super happy with how that’s gone. We’ve had four people here in the DNC resign, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz the head, the chief financial officer, the communications director Luis Miranda. And that shows a kind of instant accountability. Perhaps not proper political accountability for a really quite concerted effort for the chain of command at the DNC, to make sure that Bernie Sanders didn’t win by pumping out black PR.”

Bill Maher took issue with the context of Assange’s statement, then shared that he read the emails and didn’t see anything that pointed to a true conspiracy.

“Well, I don’t know if that’s really true. I mean, I read those emails. There was no smoking gun.”

Assange quickly interjected to state that he knew there was a DNC plot to target Bernie Sanders supporters and make them appear violent. This was at the same time that Donald Trump supporters were portrayed as violent. During the campaigns, there were accusations being made that people were posing as plants to upset the town halls and rallies, and it appears that was somewhat true. Assange continued to explain.

“Well, I know that it’s true. Communications director Luis Miranda who has resigned just three days ago instructed his staff– instruction, not a discussion– to pump out, quote, in an unattributable manner, statements and an article saying that Bernie Sanders supporters were engaged in acts of violence.”

Bill Maher then asked Assange about Donald Trump’s campaign.

“Why haven’t we seen anything hacked from the Trump campaign, I mean obviously we know these came from Russia and we also know that you do not like Hillary Clinton at all, as does not Vladimir Putin. So it looks like you are working with a bad actor Russia to put your thumb on the scale and basically f*ck with the one person who stands in the way of us being ruled by Donald Trump.”

The audience clapped loudly in agreement. Many believe that Julian Assange is on a mission to get Trump elected, an allegation he has denied. Julian Assange will be speaking at Jill Stein’s nomination at the Green Party Convention.

Julian responded to Maher’s statements.

“We did not publish full credit card numbers about donors. It’s the last four digits, just like your 7-11 receipt. It’s very important for tracking money laundering and there are serious allegations about money laundering and SEC violations (unintelligible). Our materials that we release are pristine. We’re really good at this. We have a 10-year, perfect record of having never got it wrong in relation to the integrity of what we’ve released. There’s no allegation, not even from Debbie Wasserman-Schultz or any of these people. The materials are completely valid and true.

“What there is, is a conflation between our publications of DNC leaks and an extensive variety of hacks of the DNC and frankly other organizations over the last two years. Possibly by state actors, that wouldn’t be at all surprising.”

Continuing Julian Assange spoke around the allegation that Russia leaked the documents.

“But, we know the source of the material right? Everyone knows the source of what we published. The source is the Democratic Party. The source is Luis Miranda, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, etc. etc.”

Bill Maher interjected and asked about Donald Trump’s campaign. It’s a question that millions have been asking every since word of the DNC leak became public.

“So why don’t you hack into Donald Trump’s tax returns?”

The question was met with large shouts and applause from the audience.

Julian Assange looked into the camera and replied.

“Well, we’re working on it.”

The response caused the audience to break out in laughter, and even Bill Maher laughed.

So will Julian Assange release Donald Trump’s tax returns soon? Is his promotion of Jill Stein at the Green Party going to help people realize there are more than two candidates running for president? Will there continue to be more fallout surrounding the DNC leaks, or are people brushing it off as a personal vendetta?
