Pippa Middleton Shows Off Engagement Ring But Not Fiancé James Matthews
Pippa Middleton wants the world to know that she is engaged to a wonderful man, but more than that, she wants the world to know that she has an awesome engagement ring. She has stepped out multiple time flaunting her engagement, but she has yet to emerge with James Matthews, her fiancé.
The 32-year-old British socialite has been out jogging, walking her dog, and riding a bike with her engagement ring, but not with James Matthews. While they have made an official announcement about their intention to get married next year, they have not stepped out in public as an engaged couple yet.
“Despite the estimated $328,000 price tag, 32-year-old Pippa wore the rock with ease as she cycled through traffic in the city,” reports Hello! Magazine. “The columnist looked as chic as ever in an outfit that combined clashing animal prints.”

She also appeared in the company of her cute “cocker spaniel, Rafa,” out on a walk in London. It looks like it’s a trend that she is wearing out her a third of a million dollar ring with the simplest attire choices.
“The newly engaged royal-in-law, 32, strolled around London’s posh Chelsea neighborhood wearing a loose peach button-up blouse, teamed with skinny jeans that showed off her toned legs,” reports Us Weekly. “She completed the breezy ensemble with square sunglasses, a brown leather bag, fringed sandals and her estimated 3.5-carat diamond sparkler.”

But her fiancé, James Matthews, has been nowhere in sight as Pippa continues to make casual appearances throughout London.
The last time that they were seen together was at All England Club, when they made an appearance at the most important matches of this year’s Wimbledon. Being a big fan of tennis, the sister of Duchess of Cambridge did not forget to bring her to-be-husband along to Centre Court.
But Pippa didn’t suspect that he was ready to pop the question so quickly after Wimbledon. The eager fans did know something was up with James Matthews as he had been seen having private lunches with his girlfriend’s mother, Carole.
“Pippa Middleton’s boyfriend James Matthews had a meeting with her mother Carole last week – without his significant other in tow – in what could be a sign that he is ready to propose,” reports Daily Mail. “It is traditionally the father’s permission a would-be husband must seek, but any man wanting to marry a Middleton must surely win over the formidable matriarch, not just dad Michael.”
According to sources, it really seems like Pippa didn’t know that he was so ready to ask her to marry him. A source told Us Weekly that the engagement was “totally unexpected” and even her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge, “had no idea they were getting engaged so soon.”
This union is completely supported by the royal family, as well. The word on the street is that Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, aka Kate Middleton and Prince William, were “absolutely delighted” by the news of engagement, according to a spokesperson for Kensington Palace.
In fact, Pippa is probably very excited about the fact that she will get her own noble title after her wedding. As James Matthews’ wife, Pippa Middleton will become Lady Glen Affric, as he is “the heir to a vast Scottish property,” according to Hello! Magazine.
One thing that James and Pippa do not have to do is to move in together. They already did that earlier this year, according to Daily Mail, hiring movers to transport Pippa’s things into his Chelsea townhouse.
