Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the soon to be resigning DNC Chairwoman, will not be without a job for very long. Just a short few hours after Shultz announced she will be resigning after the DNC convention due to the most recent email scandal linking her to conspiring against the Bernie Sanders campaign, the Washington Examiner is reporting that Hillary Clinton has offered Schultz a job in her campaign.
The job that Debbie Wasserman Schultz will be having in Clinton's campaign will be as the honorary chairperson of Hillary's 50-state program. As a congresswoman in Miami, Clinton hopes that Shultz will be able to play a pivotal role in helping Clinton win the swing state of Florida in November. In a statement written by Clinton, she commented on how happy she is to have Schultz in her campaign.
"I look forward to campaigning with Debbie in Florida and helping her in her re-election bid because as president, I will need fighters like Debbie in Congress who are ready on day one to get to work for the American people."

Usually, Democrats and Republicans tend to believe that they already have certain states in the bag in regard to winning electoral votes in November. Both parties tend to put a vast majority of their staff and money in the handful of swing states that will decide the election. The website 270towin.com shows the electoral map with states already decided for both parties.

When the email scandal broke, Schultz initially stated that would no longer be speaking at the DNC in Philadelphia next week. It was not until pressure kept building did Shultz announce that she would be resigning from her position. In a show of support, President Obama released a statement in support of Schultz and what she has meant to him and the Democrat party.
"For the last eight years, Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has had my back. This afternoon, I called her to let her know that I am grateful. Her leadership of the DNC has meant that we had someone who brought Democrats together not just for my re-election campaign, but for accomplishing the shared goals we have had for our country."When it was announced that Schultz would be resigning from her position, it did not take long for Donald Trump and others to comment on Twitter.
Today proves what I have always known, that @Reince Priebus is the tough one and the smart one, not Debbie Wasserman Shultz (@DWStweets.)— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 24, 2016
