‘Big Brother 18’ Recap: Spoilers From July 17 Episode Include Nominations, Roadkill Winner [Spoilers]

This Big Brother 18 recap comes from the Sunday, July 17, episode of the show. Many Big Brother 18 spoilers had already indicated that the house was going to target specific people for eviction, but now the CBS viewers were given an opportunity to catch up on what has been happening in the BB18 house. The latest episode aired on CBS at 8 p.m. PT/ET on July 17. The main focal points were to reveal who the new Head of Household had nominated for eviction, who won the Week 4 Roadkill competition, and who that person nominated for eviction.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Paulie Calafiore won the HOH competition on Thursday, July 14. This guaranteed his safety for the week, but also protected his team inside the BB18 house as well. As denoted by fan site Joker’s Updates, Paulie winning guaranteed safety for Frank Eudy, Bridgette Dunning, and Michelle Meyer. This meant that Paulie needed to come up with nominees from the other three teams, a task that viewer of the live feeds already knew he had no problem doing this week.

This July 17 Big Brother 18 recap picks up right after Paulie won Head of Household and Bronte D’Acquisto got evicted from the house. There is immediate drama, as Frank Eudy tries to figure out how the votes flipped right before the eviction ceremony. Frank had been under the impression that Tiffany Rousso was going to easily get evicted, but she had enough support to stay in the BB18 house, leading to Bronte getting evicted by a vote of 5-4.

Producers also began showing how Natalie Negrotti was frustrated that her best friend was evicted and how she reacted negatively to her showmance (James Huling) about what had happened. Then Tiffany and Frank are shown arguing about the eviction vote, with Tiffany telling Frank that it is his fault after he had been targeting her for weeks. Tiffany denies that she was a threat to him, but viewers get to see where she told Da’Vonne Rogers that she was indeed targeting Frank.

An important component of this Big Brother 18 recap is what happens next, as Frank and Da’Vonne get into another fight about strategy in the game. Not only does it create an even bigger fracture between the two alliance members, but it pushes Frank toward possibly working with Tiffany. A worst-case scenario for Da’Vonne starts to evolve, as two people she wants out of the BB18 house realize that it could be more important to work together than continue to target each other this summer.

This all leads up to the Week 4 nominations for eviction, with Head of Household Paulie Calafiore deciding that he wants to bring an end to the drama revolving around Tiffany Rousso. He sets her up as the main target for the July 21 eviction, placing Tiffany and Natalie Negrotti on the block. As expected, Tiffany starts crying in the BB18 house again, likely hoping that by getting emotional she can lure some support in her direction again. It works with Frank. Now the pair can be considered to be officially working together.

The last component of this July 17 Big Brother 18 recap is the Roadkill competition and what takes place after its conclusion. Tiffany Rousso ends up winning the Roadkill competition, giving her the power to name the third nominee this week. Tiffany then nominates Corey Brooks for eviction, targeting someone from the main alliance in the BB18 house, but also someone who Frank wants to see get evicted. This strategy appears to be a succinct way to curry favor with Frank before eviction night.

The Veto competition has already taken place over the weekend, so CBS viewers can take a look at more Big Brother 18 spoilers via a previous report by The Inquisitr. That information from the BB18 house, as well as the Veto ceremony, will get revealed during the July 20 episode.
