An alien hunter claims to have spotted a mysterious UFO with a "long rectangular window" approaching the International Space Station (ISS) in low Earth orbit. The mysterious UFO, according to the alien hunter, approached the ISS within 30-50 meters.

According to the UFO blogger Scott C. Waring, in a new post to his UFO Sightings Daily blog, a UFO hunter, identified as @TheBearLadySees, sent him a screenshot from the Live ISS Stream showing a UFO flying perilously close to the ISS.

Although Waring describes the alleged craft as a "triangle UFO," some enthusiasts noted that it appears to have a "classic" flying saucer shape, with a bulge in the center of its upper and lower surfaces.

"You can even make out the long rectangular window in the UFO... This UFO is within 30-50 meters to the space station."

Waring claims that the alien spacecraft approached the ISS apparently because curious aliens wanted to have a closer look at the space station. It appeared that they were not concerned that human astronauts on board the space station would see them.

The UFO, according to Waring, flew so close to the ISS that human astronauts looking out of the windows of the space station may have seen curious aliens craning their necks for a better view of the orbiting spacecraft.

"You can even make out the long rectangular window in the UFO," the veteran alien hunter comments. "The window is facing the space station windows and cameras! They are watching, observing the space station, and clearly they want the astronauts on board the ISS to know it. Look how amazingly close they are to the space station. This UFO is within 30-50 meters to the space station."

The latest sightings comes after NASA was forced to issue a statement in response to a recent claim by YouTube UFO hunter Streetcap1, that NASA cut the live ISS stream as he watched a mysterious object entering the Earth's atmosphere on July 9 (see YouTube below).

The NASA spokesperson also explained that the live video feed comes from four high definition cameras mounted outside the ISS. The four cameras give different views of the Earth from space.

The live feed, according to the spokesperson, switches automatically between the four cameras.

"The video is from our High Definition Earth Viewing (HDEV) experiment aboard the ISS, which is mounted externally on the ISS," Huot explained. "This experiment includes several commercial HD video cameras aimed at the Earth, which are enclosed in a pressurized and temperature-controlled housing. The experiment is on automatic controls to cycle through the various cameras."

The Inquisitr also reported earlier in April that NASA denied accusations that it intentionally shut down the live ISS feed after a "horse shoe-shaped" UFO (see YouTube below) appeared near the ISS.

According to Waring, in a post to his UFO Sightings Daily blog, as he watched the live ISS stream on Sunday, April 17, 2016, a horseshoe-shaped UFO appeared and approached the space station. But as the UFO came closer, NASA replaced the live feed with its infamous blue screen.

"The station regularly passes out of range of the Tracking and Relay Data Satellites used to send and receive video, voice and telemetry from the station," according to NASA spokesperson Tabatha Thompson. "For video, whenever we lose signal (video comes down on our higher bandwidth, called KU), the cameras will show a blue screen indicating no signal or a preset video slate, depending on where you are watching the feed."
