‘Scream’ Spoilers Season 2 Episode 8: Village Of The Damned [Video]

Scream Season 2 has had a series of almost kills, but not quite. That has been happening now in one form or another for several episodes this year, and the killer seems to be “playing with his dinner” more this season on Scream. But in Episode 8, which is titled “Village of the Damned,” Scream fans are going to get to see their heroine go through a gauntlet that hasn’t been seen since the middle of Season 1 on Scream.

If there is anything that you as a fan of Scream might have learned about Season 2 so far, it’s that the first season is over and the rules have changed quite dramatically. Although you still have most of your key characters in play, everyone is on the menu for the Scream killer. That will hold especially true in “Village of the Damned,” as reported by TV Guide.

Since Season 2 started this year on Scream, Emma has been mostly sheltered from the raw action and killing spree. The killer has also seen to it that she stayed that way, at least for the first half of the season, by keeping Jake’s death a secret until just the right moment of intense drama that could not have been pulled off in a better “Carrie” way.

But now that Emma’s Season 2 innocence has been shattered, and she has been exposed to the main action for this season of Scream, her storylines are about to take over as the main events for each episode. Episode 8, in particular, will be putting her in the lead and the entire sequence will revolve around her and the killer in a new deadly game.

Before we get to in depth about what’s to come on Episode 8 of Scream, let’s just take a look at where we are so far. This is the part of the article where we sound off all the alarms and all the bells and whistles that warn you that SPOILERS are coming. If you do not want to read about any spoilers from the last episode of Scream, then you need to stop reading now.

Now that you are still with us, then you have likely already seen the last episode of Scream. Just to recap, Noah and Zoe have finally breached that boundary that lies between their season-long romance that has been looming. There was even an awkward scene with Noah attempting to buy condoms, where an old lady asked him what size he needed. Noah could have just melted away at that very moment, but it did not ruin the mood.

Audrey could have had better timing when she burst into the room just when Noah was about to finally lose his virginity. These episodes of Scream seem to have a lot of scenes were young teens are getting “harshed buzz syndrome.” Whether it be from dead bodies, attacked victims or over-zealous best friends.

Everyone’s favorite weirdo psychology teacher also took a turn for the worse when the killer zeroed in on her and made an example for the rest of Lakewood. In the end, it proves that no one is safe.

But once again, she lives, just like Scream fans found out that Branson lives as well. But in the scene with Emma and Eli at the empty house, where she so remarkably harshed his buzz and refused his advances, they had to make a quick break for it when the house was burning down, just as Branson blinked his eyes in the bathtub.

So in Episode 8 of Scream, the Lakewood Days Carnival comes to town and that is the perfect place for the killer to put Emma on her next cat and mouse game, presumably to save some innocent friend of hers. But Brooke is going to have a little surprise of her own for the entire town.
