Kim Kardashian has a heavy presence on social media, and her plethora of fans love following her every move on the various social media accounts she regularly updates. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star recently proved how strong Instagram can be in generating referral traffic. According to the Huffington Post, Kim Kardashian generated a record number of referrals from Instagram leading into a GQ cover story that she was featured in.

The magazine’s editor-in-chief, Jim Nelson, noted that there were approximately 360,000 referrals coming through Instagram, a platform that is almost unanimously known for not generating significant referral traffic. He also noted that the interest for Kardashian on the cover story marks the first time that Instagram has eclipsed Facebook as the top referrer for a story. Instagram does not let users click links in comments posted under pictures, which makes it a struggle for business who want to use the platform for traffic.
GQ did what many other outlets would do: They included links to the story under their Instagram profile for users to click on. When it was promoting Caity Weaver’s story on Kardashian, the magazine linked to the article using its Instagram profile.
Kim Kardashian has also recently found herself dealing with criticism for looking too slim in an appearance she made in Fergie’s latest music video. Kim Kardashian took to Snapchat to clarify that she had not been digitally slimmed down for the music video to Fergie’s “M.I.L.F.$,” according to ET Online.
Kardashian has cited a behind-the-scenes video for Keeping Up with the Kardashians as proof that her waist had not undergone any form of digital change. She went on the explain why her waist looked almost unimaginably clinched, citing her wardrobe as the cause of her slim waist.

Kim Kardashian has been very open about her weight loss regimen. Now that she has hit her goal weight, Kardashian skipped on Fourth of July festivities so she would not be tempted to cheat on her strict diet.
Despite being on a strict diet, Kardashian does admit that she enjoys indulging in fast food every once in a while. According to News Australia, Kim Kardashian admits that fast food is one of her guilty pleasures despite being committed to adhering to the Atkins diet.
Although she loves fast food – McDonald’s, in particular – the socialite admitted that she rarely allows herself to eat it lately. She has two different orders when she visits McDonald’s: her first and most common order is a small order of fries, and her second order is either chicken nuggets or a cheeseburger with chicken nuggets. She went on to say that she only eats half of the cheeseburger and half of the chicken nuggets.

McDonald’s was not the only fast-food chain that Kardashian admitted to enjoying, as she also admitted to being tempted to swing through the drive-thru at other places. She revealed that her usual KFC order is extra-crispy chicken wings, and at Taco Bell, Kim Kardashian gets both a soft and hard taco. She went on to say that her favorite meal at In-N-Out is a cheeseburger, cheese fries, and a vanilla shake.
