Alicia Vikander Counts Down Days Until ‘Light Between Oceans’ Press With Michael Fassbender

Alicia Vikander is counting down the days until she reunites with Michael Fassbender on the press tour of The Light Between Oceans. While she has been able to return to Sydney to promote Jason Bourne, it looks like her schedule has not been kind enough for her to get to see her boyfriend.

But in just two weeks, the 27-year-old actress will be in New York with Michael Fassbender touring for the movie that brought them together.

“And her busy year shooting back to back movies has meant she’s barely had time to see her family as well as boyfriend Michael Fassbender,” reports the Daily Mail. “Swedish star admitted she’s been travelling so much she’s glad she’s been able to catch up with handsome Michael as they get ready to promote their shared project The Light Between Oceans.”

During the interview, Alicia broke into a smile when she said, “we start the press for it in two weeks in New York.”

The Light Between Oceans actors had heavenly few days in Sydney in June when they got to do all the things that new couples get to do, but they couldn’t because they were living in different continents.

“Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender appeared to be just as much in the honeymoon period as they enjoyed a workout session together on Friday at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia,” reports the Daily Mail. “The pair were joined by a trainer, who put them through their paces with an array of taxing exercises as they worked up a sweat in the sunshine.”

Not only did they work out together, they spent some time bowling, grabbing lunch, and having fun with friends. No wonder the idea of reuniting with Michael Fassbender is bringing a smile on the Oscar winner’s face!

Until then, the Swede is impressing fashion critics all over the world in her savvy choices that push her to the top of best-dressed lists.

“The actress always manages to make even the most formal red carpet looks appear modern and effortless, which she achieved this evening by teaming a dress which could easily look ‘overdone’ with a laid-back twisted plait pulled over her shoulder, beautiful Bulgari Serpenti jewellery and going hands-free with no clutch bag,” reports the Telegraph. “She also co-ordinated nicely with her co-star Julia Stiles who also wore a silver floor-length gown.

While the Light Between Oceans actress is eager to talk more about her budding relationship with the 39-year-old actor, he seems a little bit more hesitant to bring it into the limelight.

“It has been reported that Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander’s upcoming movie The Light Between Oceans is where their love ignited, but it’s not a good idea to ask the actor about that,” reports the Sydney Morning Herald. “The notoriously private Irish star shot down a question on that very notion despite talk being excitedly rife on the subject with the release of the movie’s official trailer this week.”

“Dropping his toothy grin, and reaching out and giving this reporter a light and unexpected smack on the right shoulder, he replied, ‘nice talking to you’, before turning on his heels and heading off in the direction of the next waiting reporter,” reports the same article.

Seeing how he has dated many beautiful Hollywood stars, it might be a little unnerving for him to be involved with someone receiving so much attention from the press. He has dated M?d?lina Diana Ghenea, Zoe Kravitz, Nicole Beharie, and Louise Hazel. Michael is Alicia’s first relationship documented by the press.
