Dina Manzo Reflects On ‘RHONJ’ While Amber Marchese Continues To Blast Teresa Giudice

After a long hiatus, The Real Housewives of New Jersey returned to the air on Sunday night with the premiere of its seventh season. Season 7 of the Bravo hit stars Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita, Siggy Flicker, and Dolores Catania. On Sunday night, both Dina Manzo and Amber Marchese, who starred on the show’s sixth season alongside Teresa and Melissa but are no longer a part of the cast, wished the current cast a good season. Dina also reflected on her time on the show and her life since leaving it. Amber, meanwhile, continued to criticize Teresa, whom she notably left out of her well-wishes tweet, and Bravo’s decision to continue airing her.

Prior to the premiere airing, Dina, who now lives in Malibu, wished the current stars a great season via an Instagram post.

Later, Dina posted a lengthy message in which she reflected on how much her life has changed recently. She revealed that her life took a drastic change about two months after the season 6 reunion show and that it was a very scary and challenging time for her. Yet now two years later, she’s living the life she long dreamed of. Dina added that she learned and grew a lot and found out who her real friends and family are. She implored her followers to not be afraid of change.

Accompanying Dina’s message was a clip of her from Season 6 during which she talked about how her daughter’s acceptance into a college in New York City and leaving home really signaled to her that it was time for her to move on with her life.

“Lexi got into an amazing university in the city. Her moving out really represents so much. It’s time for me to move on, from this house and this marriage, and I don’t know where home will be in a few months.”

Dina Manzo’s marriage to Tommy Manzo, the brother of her sister Caroline Manzo’s husband, was finally finalized in the spring of 2016 after years of separation. In May, she confirmed to Fox 411 that she wasn’t returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey due to the change in her location. Dina clarifed that the producers did want her back.

“Of course, they asked me back. I thought about it for a minute, and I thought ‘How am I supposed to do this? I don’t live there.’ I have an apartment here in Manhattan but I don’t live in New Jersey, so I don’t see how that could work.”

Dina’s social media accounts certainly show her to be living a very happy life in Southern California. Besides continuing with her charity work, she has a skincare line, Glow by Dina. She also has a special man in her life. In an interview with Page Six in July 2016, Dina talked about her boyfriend, 35-years-old businessman David Cantin.

“I am with someone new and it’s really great. I was getting a divorce and I was like, ‘I’m never doing this again.’ … I was fine just never falling in love again and, you know, I guess some things happen when you’re not really looking for it.”

Amber Marchese joined Dina in wishing the current stars a great season. Yet unlike Dina, Amber noticeably excluded one person from her well wishes. She tagged all of the current stars in her tweet with the exception of Teresa Giudice.

Amber and her husband, Jim Marchese, have been very vocal that they don’t agree with Bravo’s decision to continue showcasing a person who committed a felony. As the premiere episode aired, Amber re-tweeted tweets from viewers who voiced displeasure over the absence of her and Jim and disgust at the continued presence of Teresa.

In what seems to be a reference to Teresa, Amber bitterly tweeted that she has learned that sometimes, the bad guys do win.

Yet for viewers who are missing Amber and Jim, it seems that they’ll get to see them soon, albeit on a different show. Jim tweeted that he and Amber have a new show premiering in the fall.

In a jab towards Real Housewives, Jim added that his and Amber’s new show will be real, not fake.

So far, the other two non-returning stars from The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6, twins Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano, haven’t reacted to the season 7 premiere. However, while it seems that viewers won’t see Dina Manzo and Amber Marchese at all this season, they may still see the twins briefly. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Teresa tweeted back in May that she and her sister filmed some cameos for the new season.
