Justin Bieber, 5SOS, Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor Mock Kanye West ‘Famous’ Video [Watch]

For those who wanted to watch Kanye West’s “Famous” music video at work but recognized it was too racy to be safe, Justin Bieber is among those celebrities who have provided a family-friendly, work-friendly alternative. In a cute SFW (Safe For Work) version of Kanye’s already infamous video, Justin teamed up with several celebrities, including Meghan Trainor, 5 Seconds Of Summer (5SOS), Craig David, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Nick Jonas, for the perfect parody, noted Billboard.

Pillow talk consists of cuddly and cute conversations among the stars featured in the spoof of West’s controversial “Famous” music video. Credit goes to BBC Radio 1 for bringing together the well-known faces to climb into bed together.

However, in direct contrast to Kanye’s video, which exposed those celebrities in the nude, the Biebs version is all about laughing it up. Justin, 5SOS, Jonas, Meghan, Craig David and Carly Rae chat together and get cozy beneath the sheets.

Highlights include Bieber boasting about having a “perfect symmetrical face” and Troye Sivan questioning Trainor (the answer is “no”). And for those who are fans of Nick, Jonas even takes his famous leather jacket into bed with the rest of the celebrities.

In the description of the cuddly pillow talk parody, the BBC explained the inspiration.

“We watched the new Kanye video and thought it was weird as hell, so we made a SFW version (that’s still weird) with a load of famous people,” shared BBC Radio 1. “Featuring a cast of Troye Sivan, Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Craig David, Cheryl, Ant & Dec and 5 Seconds of Summer.”

The result isn’t just fun for viewers as well as safe to watch at work: It also clearly was fun for the celebrities to create, pointed out Rolling Stone.

Justin struggled to avoid breaking into laughter, at one point praising a singer’s jugular vein. And while mocking Kanye’s video, some celebrities joked about themselves, including Meghan and Carly Rae.

Meanwhile, the controversy over West’s “Famous” music video rages on. In particular, some are questioning whether it qualifies as art or exploitation, noted Vox.

When Kanye released his video for his “Famous” song, he described it as the visual, thereby implying that it constitutes art. But while some agreed, others felt that putting together images of nude stars sleeping in bed with one another was “objectification.” In particular, West’s decision to include Taylor Swift amid their long-running feud was called into question.

And while the parody version put together the real-life celebrities to tease each other, Kanye’s original “Famous” music video featured what is assumed to be wax and silicon models, with some speculating that he incorporated body doubles to make it look as if they were breathing.

The sculpted caboose of West’s wife Kim, the pierced nipples of Rihanna, blond hair of Taylor, and tattoos of Chris Brown ranked among the features that allowed viewers to determine which stars West had included.

Every individual was linked in some way to the rapper. Kanye shocked his followers by tweeting “BILL COSBY INNOCENT,” for example. Amber Rose is his former gal pal, while Caitlyn Jenner remains in the extended family. Ray J belongs in the “former” category because he is Kardashian’s sex tape partner and former boyfriend.

Chris Brown and Kanye teamed up for “Waves,” while Rihanna also has a musical link to West. Vogue editor Anna Wintour earned her place in the music video by choosing Kanye and Kim for her magazine’s cover.

Political figures weren’t left out of “Famous” either. Donald Trump claimed that West “loves Trump.” As for the link with George Bush, Kanye referred to him after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

“George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” alleged West.

With regard to feedback from the celebrities featured in Kanye’s “Famous,” Chris Brown was the first to react, according to Us Weekly.

“Why I gotta have the plumbers butt/crack showing WAX figure?” questioned Brown. “This n—-a KANYE CRAZY, talented, but crazy.”

In all, there are 10 naked stars featured in the video, with Kim and Kanye making it a total of 12.
