Drake, Rihanna Dating: Family Wants ‘One Dance’ Rapper To Dump Singer For Serena Williams, Claim She’s Marriage Material

News of Drake having reconciled with Rihanna isn’t sitting too well with the rapper’s family members, it has been alleged.

According to Hollywood Life, Drake’s mother, Sandi Graham, was rather stunned to learn that her son has gotten back with Rihanna, whom he has shared an on-again, off-again romance with for the past six years.

An insider reveals that Sandi isn’t too happy about the news, having thought that, after being introduced to Drake’s ex-girlfriend Serena Williams last year, the relationship was serious enough that the twosome would eventually get married and have children.

Sandi is worried about Drake since he’s nearly approaching 30 and still can’t make up his mind on who he wants to spend the rest of his life with. The rapper’s mother is very traditional and thinks that the 29-year-old should start planning ahead and think about marriage and children, assuring herself that it certainly won’t be with Rihanna.

Sandi doesn’t have a problem with Rihanna, but an insider continues to add that she just doesn’t see the relationship ever being anything more than a hookup as opposed to something that could eventually develop into something more serious.

That’s why Drake’s mom was hoping he would stay with Serena, for the tennis champion had given Sandi the impression that she’s all for the idea of having children and getting married — something Williams reportedly alluded to when she met Sandi in Toronto, Canada last year.

A source gushed, “Drake and his mother are really tight and like the good mensch he is. He listens to her. Sandi doesn’t really think anyone’s good for Drake, but if she had to choose one woman he’s been with it would be Serena.”

Sandi has already convinced herself that the relationship between Drake and Rihanna is not going to last, but she feels as if the “One Dance” hitmaker is wasting his time with someone who supposedly doesn’t have the intention to settle down in the near future.

Graham is hoping that Drake will fly out to London sometime this week to support Serena Williams at her Wimbledon matches. He was seen performing at one of Rihanna’s concerts in Manchester last week, so the chances of Drake attending Wimbledon are very likely.

The insider went on to add that, in the perfect world, Serena is the only woman that has given Sandi the impression she has thought ahead about marriage and kids, which is why they’ll eventually get back together. “Sandi idolizes her athleticism and thinks she’s a sweet and wholesome girl, much different from the wild and over-sexualized women Drake’s been with in the past.”

“[She’s] encouraging him to attend all her upcoming matches at Wimbledon and make a serious play at her. Sandi’s not getting any younger and she wants grandkids from him!”

It should be noted that Drake and Rihanna have never confirmed reports claiming they are back together. In recent weeks, sources alleged that the two had a friends with benefits situation going on because neither one of them likes committing themselves to a full-blown relationship considering how hectic their schedules have been in the last few years.

Whether Drake will attend Wimbledon to support Serena Williams has yet to be seen.
