iPad Mini Photos Leaked Online

Is this the iPad Mini or a bunch of school lunch trays? A new photo posted by French blog Nowhereelse reportedly shows the size differences between the iPad, the iPhone, and the new iPad Mini.

The smaller tablet, which would compete directly with Google’s Nexus 7 and Amazon’s Kindle Fire, has not been confirmed by Apple yet. The company is set to unveil the new iPhone 5 tomorrow but no one is expecting too much information about the iPad Mini.

But that doesn’t mean that there isn’t information out there. Nowhereelse claims to have several photos of the mini tablet. The photos show a small white tablet with the black Apple logo on the back. PC Mag notes, however, that the photos could be of a “simple Chinese clone.” NoWhereElse promises to answer if the photos are authentic later this week.

The iPad mini is rumored to be at about 7.85 inches but with the same resolution as the iPad 2. CNet predicts that the Apple’s 7-inch competitor will be released in the Fall after the iPhone 5 madness has settled down. The tech blog believes that the new product will be about $300 to make it a competitor against the Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire.

Here’s a photo that shows the reported size of the iPad mini compared to the iPhone 4S.

Do you think this is really the iPad Mini?
