When Is The ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ 2016 Premiere? Double Wedding In Store For Fans On Season 3?

Ready for the third season of Bachelor in Paradise to begin? Chill the wine and get ready for a season filled with an equal mix of love and drama when the Bachelor spinoff series returns to ABC just one day after Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher hands out her final rose.

According to ABC, the two-hour Bachelor in Paradise premiere is schedule for August 2 at 8 p.m. ET and will feature 30 single guys and girls who are hoping for a second — or third — chance at finding love.

Season 3 may have even more to offer than just the usual hookups, crying, and beach-front love affairs. According to WetPaint, fans may see a double wedding when the season ends in September — and hopefully they’ll be the real deal, unlike Marcus and Lacy’s last season.

Last summer, the Bachelor in Paradise Season 2 premiere kicked off with Marcus and Lacy’s wedding, one that People magazine now reports has fizzled out. In fact, the couple never really got married in Mexico, but they planned to when they returned to the United States. A year later, they are no longer together and fortunately don’t have to file divorce papers due to what some fans are calling a “fake” wedding.

“Her priorities changed, what she wanted in life changed,” Marcus tells People. “She was just a very different person from when I first met and got engaged to. It became a toxic relationship at times. She was very controlling. There were a lot of barriers that we couldn’t overcome. I think that that made her change her mind.”

Jade and Tanner Tolbert, who got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise Season 2, were married earlier this year on an ABC Bachelor special, but they are expected to show up in Paradise for the premiere, as evidenced by their Snapchat stories that showed them heading to Mexico last month when the show was filming.

So, who’s getting married on the upcoming season of Paradise? The show’s creator Mike Fleiss has teased that the goal is to have a “double wedding,” but there are rumored to be three couples who got engaged when the season finale was filmed last month. Fleiss bets that at least one got married on the show.

It’s possible that at least one couple is smart and wants to get to know each other before tying the knot — after all, they only spent three weeks together before they got engaged. That would leave the possibility open that the other two couples could walk down the sandy aisle and get married on the Paradise season finale in September.

According to blogger Reality Steve, there were 26 singles cast for the show, and six of them stayed until the end and found a partner they wanted to get engaged to. Whether that was producer-prompted or not is unknown, but fans will see a major love fest when the finale airs in September.

And no, Nick Viall did not get engaged in Paradise, and spoilers indicate that he didn’t find a long-term lover either. Although he went on one date that seemed to be promising with Amanda Stanton (Ben’s season), she ditched him for Andi Dorfman’s ex, Josh Murray, as soon as he arrived in Paradise on the second episode.

According to previous report from the Inquisitr, Amanda and Josh were “inseparable” from that day forward and are now engaged. Whether their engagement ended in a wedding on the show is unknown, but Josh’s mother was spotted traveling to Mexico when the season finale was being taped.

Lace Morris, known as “drunk Lace” on Ben Higgins’ season, is also engaged. Apparently she hooked up with Grant Kemp (JoJo’s season), and they stuck it out until the end of the show.

She accepted his proposal, but how long can their relationship possibly last? He’s been called out on social media for cheating, and Reality Steve states that he has received several emails from his former lovers, who claim he’s not a faithful guy.

Carly Waddell, who appeared on the second season of Paradise, is also rumored to be engaged to the guy who is still hoping Chad Johnson buys him a new shirt. That’s right, spoilers point to single dad Evan Bass proposing to Carly on the finale — she said, “yes.”

Will Carly and Evan get married on the finale of Bachelor in Paradise? So far, there is no confirmation on that, so tune in on August 2 to watch the upcoming season to see how this televised love-fest plays out for all three of the couples who got engaged in Paradise this summer.
