Iggy Azalea Clarifies Nick Young Situation, Replaces Dannii Minogue On ‘The X Factor’

Iggy Azalea has recently broken up with Nick Young, and she is more than ready to move on with her life. Expressing how she feels, Azalea sent a very clear message to Nick Young that she does not want him anywhere near her life. According to Hollywood Life, Iggy Azalea dumped Nick Young’s stuff outside of their home.

Wild pictures of the explosive scene have made their way to social media showing Nick’s belongings sitting outside in the grass. And if that was not enough, Iggy Azalea even found a way to get his beloved classic car towed away.

With these latest developments, fans of the couple are losing all hope of a reconciliation. Less than 24 hours after announcing Iggy and Nick were no longer together, photographers shot new photos that showed Iggy cleaning out her house. Outside of the “Go Hard or Go Home” singer’s garage were a couch set and an ATV that was presumably owned by Nick. Other photos taken by the paparazzi show boxes and more telltale signs that show that someone is definitely getting kicked out of the house.

The classic 1962 Chevy Impala that she had gifted him while they were together was picked up by a low truck, but it was not clear whether Iggy was having the car towed to her ex-partner’s new home or to a dealer in an attempt to recoup some of her money. That Sunday night, before Iggy threw all of Nick’s belongings onto the street and the yard, she posted a message on her Instagram to confirm that their romance is history.

But since then, Izzy Azalea issued a statement via Twitter that she did not kick Nick out of the house or have his car towed, and that she is the one who will be moving out since the house belongs to Nick. This new information brings more questions than it does answers: Whose possessions were on the front lawn in the photo? Was it Nick who actually threw Iggy’s things out, or had Izzy packed herself in a quick attempt to get out of Nick’s house?

Despite her explosive breakup, Iggy Azalea still has a lot of things going for her, as she is scheduled to replace a big name in one of Australia’s most successful entertainment franchises. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Iggy Azalea will be replacing Dannii Minogue on The X Factor Australia.

The “Black Widow” singer will be joining X Factor regular Guy Sebastian and fellow newcomer Adam Lambert on the set of the newest season of one of Australia’s most popular talent shows.

An Australian local, the “Change Your Life” singer has been traveling the world for so long, but it is time for Iggy Azalea to head home. Coming back to Australia will give the singer a chance to return to her roots and also to make a comeback from her somewhat stalled career thanks to a breakdown she had last year. When she rose to fame after her global smash “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX, which reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, she was soon plagued by negative media coverage due to some homophobic comments she made in the past, allegations of cultural appropriation, and her plastic surgery news. The backlash left her drained.

Iggy Azalea spoke on how tough last year has been for her.

“I had to have a psychotic breakdown last year. I felt tired and stressed out. Last year, I felt like I was definitely not in control of the media’s narrative of me.”

Joining The X Factor in place of Dannii Minogue will most likely gain Iggy more fan support from home as well as allowing her to take control of her media image once more.

Iggy Azalea spoke on what she intends to do as an X Factor judge for young Australian talent.

“I understand what it’s like to have giant dreams and intend to help other young Australians achieve theirs by sharing my knowledge and developing their talent in collaboration with The X Factor.”

Although Azalea doesn’t have the best memories of last year, not everybody agrees that 2015 was a disaster for the pop star. The director of production for Channel Seven, Brad Lyons, had nothing but praise for her and confidence in her capabilities.

Brad Lyons spoke about Iggy Azalea being on The X Factor.

“Nobody knows what it takes to break through in today’s industry better than [Iggy Azalea]. With such international success at only 26, our contestants have the chance to be mentored by the best in the business.”
