Meri Brown of Sister Wives recently dealt with being catfished, as someone told her that he was a man when he was, in fact, a woman. Meri Brown talked to the person online and started to have feelings. Now, Us Magazine is sharing that Meri Brown is finally revealing why she told the person who catfished her that she loved him. It did sound like Meri was really into this person at one time.

The Sister Wives tell-all will air Sunday night, and Meri Brown is going to speak about everything that happened. Meri will be asked what she was getting from the person known as Sam Cooper that she wasn’t getting from her husband, Kody Brown. Meri then explains it all.
“At the very beginning, this person was fun, funny, just good conversation. At first, it was kind of cool just to have that companionship, I guess. I cared about who I thought she was portraying him to be because I have a trusting heart and a loving heart.”
When asked about why she told this person that she loved him, Meri Brown had an answer, but it doesn’t really make a lot of sense. Here is what she had to say about it.
“I talked to this person like, ‘OK, OK, love you, bye,’ kind of a conversation. I didn’t know what was going on and what was going to happen, and I actually told this person, I said, ‘I’m not crossing any lines — that is not me, and I will not do that.’ So the feelings that I had were confusing.”
As the Inquisitr shared before, Meri Brown’s catfisher has been releasing voicemails between the two of them. The voicemails that Meri Brown left say a lot more than what Meri is saying. It really does sound like Meri Brown has feelings for this person. Meri was calling Sam baby and saying how much she cared about him.

Kody Brown explains that he didn’t know what was going on with Meri and that they were going through a rough time in their relationship at that time. Meri shared with the whole family what was going on, but not until she had already found out that she was being catfished. Meri kept it all to herself while it was going on, even though they did seem to know that she was talking to people online.
The Hollywood Gossip shared that Kody Brown is now possibly trying to get a fifth wife. It sounds like he is a bit bored with the four wives he has and is ready to move on to another one. This could end up making things a lot more strained with Meri Brown and his other four wives.
Rumors are that Kody has his heart set on marrying Mindy Jessop. She is the nanny of Robyn’s younger children, and she is already very close to the family. Sources say that Kody is interested, but so far, it doesn’t sound like Mindy wants to marry him. Only time will tell if these two find a way to work it out and if Kody gets a fifth wife. That will keep the show around for sure.
