When it comes to his love for Gwen Stefani , Blake Shelton just can’t control himself.
The country singer couldn’t keep his hands off Stefani while the two celebrated his 40th birthday. Does this mean an engagement announcement is right around the corner?
According to Radar Online , the couple enjoyed some poolside PDA over the weekend. Photos of Shelton’s birthday party reveal the two stars kissing and hugging each other in a pool.
Stefani wore a two piece bikini, while Shelton had on a red shirt and swimming shorts.
The poolside display was only the start of a wild birthday weekend for the country star. Later, CMT is reporting that Shelton took the stage with Stefani in Colorado and sang a duet together.
“I guess if I had one birthday wish for me personally… I wish I could rock,” Shelton told the crowd. “I wish I was one of those types of artists that could rock but I can’t… For my birthday I wish I could hear an artist who could rock, that’s my birthday wish.”
Which prompted Stefani to break out one of No Doubt’s biggest hits, “Hella Good.”
AOL is reporting that Stefani gave Shelton a big kiss following her performance. The kiss capped off a perfect night for Shelton and had fans buzzing about their romance.
After the concert, Shelton expressed his thanks to fans for their support and Stefani for a wonderful birthday.
“So I possibly witnessed the coolest and craziest thing of my life tonight. … Thank you Colorado and @gwenstefani!!! Look up the videos,” he said to his social media followers, adding later, “Now THIS is how you start your 40’s!!!!!!” Shelton stated after the concert. “Thank you @gwenstefani for everything…”
According to Today , Stefani kept the festivities lighthearted, with a few posts on social media. In fact, Stefani shared a number of photos from Shelton’s birthday party on Instagram.
The images include shots of Shelton wearing birthday glasses, a pair of cartoon wine glasses, and several shots of Shelton’s birthday cakes.
Considering their crazy and romantic birthday celebrations, it is clear that Blake Shelton’s love for Gwen Stefani is stronger than ever. However, are the couple really going to exchange vows in the near future?
Stefani added fuel to the fire with a Tweet after all the birthday festivities.
“Hi strawberry moon #honeymoon #rosemoon gx #Oklahoma 2016,” Gwen wrote as the pair took in the first full moon of summer.
Despite the tweet, it appears the loved-up couple are just happy being together and did not get secretly married or engaged.
Apparently, The Voice stars are taking their time when it comes to long-term commitment. For now, they are taking things slow and want to make sure that the timing is right before they take the next step.
“Gwen was very touched, but said she had to wait to make sure it was right for the kids,” a source explained regarding Shelton’s reported proposal.
Stefani’s hesitancy to get hitched is understandable. After all, both she and Shelton went through divorces just last summer.
Stefani parted ways with her longtime husband, Gavin Rossdale, while Shelton divorced Miranda Lambert.

At the same time, Stefani has three children to worry about. Although reports indicate that Shelton has gotten along well with her kids, Stefani wants to make sure they are fully behind her decision to marry Shelton.
That being said, based on their latest round of PDA, it seems like only a matter of time before Shelton proposes to Stefani.
Of course, both stars are currently promoting their newest albums and are gearing up for summer tours. With their schedules jammed up with tour dates, it isn’t likely that they will find enough time to get married in the coming months.
However, that doesn’t mean that their wedding will be put off for another year. If their relationship continues to go strong – and there are no signs that it won’t – there is a good possibility that wedding bells will ring before the year is out.
