‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 Spoilers — New Photos Tease Who Will Die In ‘Battle Of The Bastards’

The next episode of Game of Thrones will include the highly anticipated Battle of the Bastards between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton.

Vanity Fair released several photos that tease which characters might meet their end. Will Jon make it through the fight in one piece?

The upcoming battle will pit Jon and Sansa Stark against Bolton and his army at Winterfell. On the Stark side, the photos include regal stills of Jon and Sansa alongside their top leaders, including Davos, Tormund, and Wun Wun.

On the Bolton side, the images show House Umber has fulfilled their promise to fight alongside the Ramsay. Not to mention the overwhelming size of Ramsay’s army.

With Ramsay having the larger force, it’s unclear how Jon and his sister will win.

In fact, one photo shows Jon standing by himself while a large cavalry force bears down on him. Is it possible that Game of Thrones would kill Jon after bringing him back from the dead?

According to The Guardian, Game of Thrones has a history of killing off major characters during penultimate episodes. In the first season, fans watched Ned Stark lose his head. The Red Wedding massacre happened in Season 3, while Daenerys escaped on her dragon last year.

With that in mind, there is a possibility that the Battle of the Bastards will take up the majority of the episode and will include a major character’s death.

In fact, Time is reporting that the battle sequel will be the largest scene of its kind ever filmed on HBO. Considering its scope, fans can certainly expect a lot of bloodshed.

Of course, nobody’s knows which character will die, though it is likely Ramsay will meet his end on the battlefield.

After all, Ramsay has been the most hated villain on the show since Joffrey. Until now, he’s enjoyed pretty smooth sailing during his ascent to power.

Given how Jon has already died, it only seems right that Ramsay will get what he deserves.

That being said, Ramsay isn’t the only expected death. There is a good chance that several people will die on the Stark side. This includes Sansa, Rickon, Ser Davos, Tormund, or maybe even the giant.

Because Rickon is currently a prisoner of Ramsay, he probably has the biggest probability of dying. With an army surrounding Winterfell, Ramsay probably won’t wait very long to execute the poor boy.

Also high on the list is Tormund. Tormund has become a fan favorite as of late, but considering how the show has a history of murdering good characters, his time is likely numbered.

Although some fans are worried about Jon’s fate once again, there is little to no chance that Jon dies in this battle. Despite telling Melisandre not to bring him back, there is no way the show has gone through all the trouble to resurrect Jon only to kill him again a few episodes later.

Furthermore, we still don’t know who Jon’s real mother is. Which so much of his storyline left unresolved, it just doesn’t make sense for him to die now.

With Jon’s fate safe and secure, things are not looking good for Ramsey. Fans can only hope that this means a success for Jon and Sansa, despite overwhelming odds.

While the outcome is yet to be seen, International Business Times reports that Peter “Littlefinger” Baelish might be the one to save the day. As fans will recall, Sansa sent him a letter a few episodes back asking for support.

The next episode of Game of Thrones, titled “Battle of the Bastards,” is set to air Sunday night on HBO.
