Is Gwen Stefani Worried That Blake Shelton Will Cheat On Her? Singer Avoided Hiring A Hot Assistant

The relationship of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton seems to be going strong, but the 46-year-old singer may still fear getting cheated on by her man. The No Doubt lead vocalist was recently spotted with a new assistant and she isn’t as hot as her former nanny Mindy Mann. Radar Online shared photos of the “Make Me Like You” hitmaker together with her new assistant shopping in Hollywood.

It seems that she’s taking extra precautions now to avoid making the same mistake of hiring someone who has a capability of tempting her boyfriend. Gwen Stefani decided to file for a divorce from her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale when she discovered that he was having an affair with their nanny.

The rocker chick and the Bush frontman have been married for 14 years, but it all ended when the cheating scandal emerged. According to E! News, Stefani’s suspicions were confirmed when one of the other nannies saw texts and naked photos of Mann sent to Rossdale.

“She immediately confronted Gavin and he tried to deny everything once again,” an insider said. “He had a story that he was just flirting but this time Gwen and seen it with her own eyes and didn’t believe it. She couldn’t get past it and was devastated this was going on right under her nose. She asked Gavin to leave and knew the marriage was over.”

Mindy had a resemblance to Gwen, and perhaps that’s why the singer made sure this time to get someone who isn’t her lookalike. According to PEOPLE, she and her new assistant were buying some party supplies for Blake’s 40th birthday. The blonde beauty probably wanted to make her boyfriend’s birthday special since it will be the first time they are celebrating it as a couple.

Gwen Stefani may seem to have moved on now that she’s dating Blake Shelton, but the songstress admitted that she’s still heartbroken over her divorce from Gavin Rossdale. During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the mother of three talked about how she used her music to help her deal with her failed marriage.

“I didn’t even know I could write music,” she recalled. “And then my heart was ripped out, and, like, served back to me on a platter. And this album [This Is What the Truth Feels Like], I feel like it just fell out of the sky. It was a miracle.”

The “Hollaback Girl” hitmaker will be going on solo tour this summer and the magazine asked her how she would feel singing the songs that would remind her of her breakup.

“I’m not in a different place yet. I’m still heartbroken. You can’t have your family break up and still not be going through it a year later,” she said. “It’s devastating.”

Despite the cheating scandal, Stefani didn’t file for full custody of their three sons, Kingston, 10; Zuma, 7; and Apollo, 2. According to Associated Press, she and her ex-husband will have joint custody of their kids, but neither of them will be receiving spousal or child support.

Now that Gwen Stefani’s divorce has been finalized, she’s now free to take her relationship with Blake Shelton to the next level. There have been rumors that the two are planning to get married on the same wedding date as that of Miranda Lambert and her current boyfriend Anderson East.

According to Life & Style, the “Used To Love You” singer doesn’t want to share the spotlight with her lover’s ex-wife. However, the California-based musician slammed the engagement rumors during an interview with 94.7 Fresh FM a few weeks ago as reported by E News!

“Let’s just take it one day at a time,” she told Tommy McFLY. “Everything’s crazy right now so no, absolutely not. Can you imagine the amount of gossipy, weird stories people make up? To me, it makes me laugh every day. I actually do Google my name just so I can see the next one that’s gonna happen, because it’s gotten so out of control.”
