Calvin Harris Feels ‘Hurt, Blindsided’ by Taylor Swift & Tom Hiddleston: Did She Cheat?
Love hurts, and Calvin Harris is feeling the pain after learning that his former girlfriend Taylor Swift is dating Tom Hiddleston. The world has discovered the news at the same time as Harris, after photos of the new couple locking lips have circulated. A source has revealed to E! News that Calvin has never been unfaithful to his former girlfriend, and as a result, Harris is in shock over the new romance.
“Calvin was completely faithful to Taylor. He never looked in another direction. He was completely blindsided by this. He is hurt,” shared the source.
“He is keeping a low profile and focusing on his music and the shows he is doing. He is not seeing anyone and isn’t rebounding. He just really wants to be alone,”added the insider.
When it comes to how Harris feels about Hiddleston, he apparently never even heard of him. And while Calvin feels angry, he is accepting the news that the actor is the type of person his former girlfriend desires.
Was Swift unfaithful to Calvin? One source informed E! that she never cheated. However, an insider from Team Harris revealed that Calvin felt suspicious.
“Calvin was very suspicious that Taylor was cheating during their relationship. He just didn’t know with whom.”
But, now that Harris has viewed the photos, he thinks that his worries have been confirmed. Reportedly, Calvin now believes that the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer was unfaithful while they were a couple.
“He feels like these pictures confirm his suspicions, and it changes everything. He is so angry and feels betrayed,” reveals the insider. “He is convinced that Taylor was cheating with Tom while they were still together.”
However, E! News‘ sources offer different accounts of the situation. While one of the sources contends that Calvin has been “completely faithful,” one of the insiders describes Harris has seeking attention elsewhere.
“He went looking for attention in other places,” confided another insider. “They both weren’t getting what they needed out of the relationship. Taylor had a feeling he was with other people.”
And whatever the truth might be, in public, Calvin is putting on a positive spin on his life, notes ET.
When Harris headed to a health club in Los Angeles, he found himself the subject of questions from the ever-present paparazzi. He was questioned about his former girlfriend’s new romance, and then came the direct query about the cheating rumors.
“Did Taylor betray you?” questioned a cameraman.
Calvin beamed in response.
“It’s all good, it’s all good,” Harris brushed off the direct hit question. “She’s doing her thing.”
While he put on a happy face in public, his behavior on social media points to a very different response to his former girlfriend’s new romance. Calvin went through the process of un-following the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer everywhere, and then painstakingly deleted all photos showing him with his ex.
In addition, although Harris shared a chipper tweet after their split (“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect”), he now has deleted it.
However, something that may help Calvin with getting through the pain was that the signs of a breakup existed for some time, sources told E! News.
“Their rhythm as a couple was just off,” shared one of the insiders.
In particular, maintaining a long-distance relationship proved to be particularly challenging. Swift desired attention, and Harris lacked the time.
“Distance was a big issue,” confirmed another person. “Taylor was touring for a lot of the time and Calvin has his appearances all over the world, too, so the long distance aspect caused a lot of distress.”
