Kathryn Dennis Prepares To Face Off With Thomas Ravenel During ‘Southern Charm’ Reunion After Failing Drug Test?
Kathryn Dennis and the cast of Southern Charm are nearing the end of the third season, and as their drama comes to a close on the show, they are preparing to reunite for what is sure to be a dramatic Season 3 reunion special.
Earlier this week, the seating chart for the reunion taping was released, and according to a new report, Kathryn Dennis and her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Ravenel, may be headed for a face-off.
“The photo features exes Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel in what Bravo refers to as the ‘hot seats,’ so their feud is, clearly, far from over,” Fashion & Style told readers on June 15. “Based on the photo, all of Kathryn’s rivals–Thomas, Cameran Eubanks, Landon Clements and Whitney Sudler-Smith–are sitting on the opposite side from her.”

Earlier this week, following the latest episode of Southern Charm, Kathryn Dennis’ co-stars appeared in an episode of Watch What Happens Live, where host Andy Cohen questioned them about her recent custody hearing in which she was said to have failed a drug test.
“That it’s true,” Landon Clements confirmed, according to a report by Wetpaint Entertainment. “And that’s all we know. It’s heartbreaking and it’s hard to watch and be a part of it, but there we are.”
“We’ve known about [Kathryn Dennis’] behavior,” Whitney Sudler-Smith added. “We’ve kind of been pegged as these mean, snobby, exclusive people to this…poor, helpless mother… In fact, she is a drug addict, violent [and a] sociopath, and we want nothing to do with her.”

On June 11, All About the Tea confirmed Kathryn Dennis had tested positive for cocaine and marijuana during a custody hearing with Thomas Ravenel in regard to their children, daughter Kensington, 2, and son St. Julien, 7 months.
Prior to the hearing, Kathryn Dennis had been keeping the children from their father, claiming he wasn’t helping her support them and alleging she didn’t trust him. As the outlet revealed, it had been a whopping 12 weeks since Ravenel saw Kensington and St. Julien before he was awarded joint custody in court last week.
“Kathryn made outrageous demands of Thomas prior to the drug test fail,” an insider told All About the Tea. “She now realizes that Thomas is in the driver’s seat — he could get full custody.”
On Twitter, prior to being awarded joint custody, Ravenel slammed Kathryn Dennis, claiming their children were suffering terribly due to her decision to keep them from seeing their father.

In addition to Ravenel being awarded joint custody of his and Kathryn Dennis’ children, several other changes were made to their situation, as revealed by All About the Tea.
- “Kathryn was granted supervised joint custody — Thomas agreed to allow Kathryn’s parents to supervise her time with the children.”
- “Custody will be split 50/50, with each parent alternating a week of custody.”
- “No drug use will be permitted.”
- “No paramours are allowed between certain hours in the home of either parent.”
- “No abuse of prescription drugs will be permitted.”
- “Each parent MUST refrain from any alcohol or drug use, 12 hours prior to picking up the children for their designated week of custody.”
In regard to the failed drug test, Kathryn Dennis has remained silent. Although she has appeared on both Twitter and Instagram in the days since the hearing took place, she has chosen to focus on other things, including her frustration with her co-stars on the show.
