Dakota Johnson Forgets Matthew Hitt By Having Fun With Rita Ora In ‘Fifty Shades Darker’
Dakota Johnson is suffering through yet another breakup with Matthew Hitt, which means that she is trying to have as much fun as she can on the set of Fifty Shades Darker. Good thing that she has become such close friends with her co-star Rita Ora! Nothing like girlfriends to help her through a bad heartache.

Having them on set at this time is a good thing for Dakota Johnson, who has returned to single life once again. In earlier 2016, she was back together with Matthew Hitt without letting anyone know, but their split this time became much more public than it has been in the past.
“The 26-year-old actress split with her on-again, off-again boyfriend of two years, 29-year-old British musician Matthew Hitt,” reports Entertainment Tonight. “The two first stepped out as a couple in July 2014, but broke up in February 2015. A few months later, they had rekindled the relationship, showing PDA in New York City.”
The breakup was also a big surprise for the fans because Dakota and Matthew looked quite happy to be with each other very recently in New York.
“Dakota Johnson and rocker Matthew Hitt were spotted holding hands as they strolled in New York City,” reported the Daily Mail earlier in May. “Their meeting comes just hours after she jetted in from Vancouver, B.C. where she’s filming the 50 Shades Of Grey sequels. The two were broken up for several months earlier this year.”
She was possibly there to celebrate his 29th birthday.
Just in time to soothe the breakup, Rita Ora joined the 26-year-old actress on the set. Nothing like a good female friend to talk over the breakup.
“She’s reprising her role as Mia Grey, the sister of the devilishly handsome Christian Grey, in 50 Shades Darker,” reports the Daily Mail. “And Rita Ora, 25, was spotted in costume on the set of the sequel for the first time on Monday, as she joined Dakota Johnson, 26, to shoot scenes for the erotic drama.”
Dakota Johnson is again concentrating on her work to get through the split. She was spotted with a smile on her face as she moves from one location to the other.
“Dakota Johnson showcased her ultra slim physique as she filmed scenes for Fifty Shades Darker in Vancouver, Canada,” reports the Daily Mail. “The 26-year-old donned a striped red and blue shirt with skinny jeans and a grey zippered hoodie while in character as Anastasia Steele. The actress, who added black Converse sneakers and a large leather bag, sported minimal makeup and a heavy fringe.”

Fifty Shades Darker star has spoken about being single before when she was promoting How To Be Single starring Rebel Wilson.
“I cherish my solitude and I think it’s important for young women, especially now, to know that it’s OK to explore the world and yourself without the pressures of other people’s opinions of you.” Dakota said, according to Fox News. “I don’t need a partner to feel complete. In today’s society there’s less of a stigma on being single. I think society is relinquishing some of the pressures of needing to find a spouse.”
Maybe reconsidering her statement as well as keeping good friends like Rita Ora near her will help her see that being single when one is only 26 is not such a bad thing after all.
