Heather Bilyeu Says Wedding To Josh Altman Could Have Torn Them Apart

Heather Bilyeu got married to Josh Altman this past spring in Aspen, Colorado. The two decided to set the date in the season finale of Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles last year, and the two decided on April and then called their family members.

But this wedding date was indeed the second wedding date they set. The first date hadn’t really worked out for them, as Josh simply didn’t prioritize his wedding to Heather. Bilyeu would make appointments for them to try out wedding cakes and plan their big day, but Josh would be more interested in doing deals around Los Angeles.

According to a new Bravo report, Heather Bilyeu is now revealing that she probably wouldn’t be with Josh now if they had stuck to the original wedding day. As it turns out, the planning and the event may have been too much for them and could have torn them apart.

“I think if we would have gotten married the first time, when we had our original wedding date, I honestly can say — and he agrees with me — that maybe we might not still be together or it would have just been a really, really difficult time for the first however long,” Heather Bilyeu reveals in her interview with the Daily Dish, sharing that they were not on good terms at the time of their first wedding date.

“I think us waiting and really taking our time and figuring out each other and what we want together and separately, and going through some of those issues that we had and talking them out before we got married, made us both assured that we wanted this and that were lucky to have each other. It’s only made us stronger,” Heather Bilyeu revealed during her interview.

Of course, Heather and Josh’s relationship played out on Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles, and he wasn’t exactly as excited about the future as she was. Heather revealed that she wanted a wedding, children, and a family. But Josh couldn’t even make time to do a taste-test for his own wedding cake, let alone take time off to become a father. It seemed like Heather Bilyeu’s dreams of a future with Altman just didn’t really look realistic.

But maybe Altman realized that he had to change his ways if he wanted to marry Heather. The two got married in April, and it sounds like married life has been nothing but fantastic for these two. Heather reveals that Altman is actually making every effort possible to make her very happy, including serving her breakfast every morning.

“Married life is absolutely amazing. It’s only gotten better and actually funny enough a lot of people are telling Josh he’s relaxed now and he’s like, ‘No, I lost my edge!’ He’s really taken on this new role of being a husband, this new job title,” Heather revealed about married life, sharing, “He’s never been a handyman or anything like that and he’s been at home like picking up a hammer and he went and bought an electric drill and he’s been trying to do housework. And he makes dinner; he makes me breakfast in the morning. It’s been amazing.”

These days, rumors are swirling about the future for these two. The previous season ended with Bilyeu learning that her period was late. It is possible that these two could welcome a baby Altman to the family sooner rather than later. There have been plenty of rumors about Heather Bilyeu sporting a possible baby bump, but she hasn’t confirmed anything yet. The last season of Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles ended with a huge question mark as to whether or not Bilyeu was pregnant, so it is possible that viewers are looking for answers when the show returns.

What do you think of Heather Bilyeu’s comments that her first wedding date could have possibly ruined her relationship with Josh Altman? Are you excited to see them return to Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles this summer?
