Justin Bieber’s Friends Fear He’s Heading For A Breakdown, ‘It’s Serious & No One Is Taking It Lightly’

Justin Bieber’s friends and family are allegedly worried that the singer is on the verge of a serious breakdown.

A new report by Entertainment Tonight is claiming that Bieber’s closest confidants are seriously concerned that Justin is heading for a breakdown after the star has continued to exhibit some pretty erratic behavior in recent months.

“People around Justin are nervous about him and worry that he could have a breakdown,” an insider close to Bieber recently admitted to the site, which follows weeks of Justin hitting the headlines for some pretty questionable behavior.

“[Justin] feels like people forget that he is a human being and needs privacy,” the source continued, claiming that Bieber’s recent announcement that he would no longer take photos with fans was just one of a string of signs that show Justin may soon be heading for a breakdown.

“[Justin] writing those social posts about the ‘no photos etc…,’ that is him just being overwhelmed,” Entertainment Tonight’s source said. “It wasn’t intended to make people think he is a snotty pop star, but it’s definitely reflective of what he is going through right now.”

The site’s source also admitted that Justin has been attempting to shun the spotlight as of late, particularly during his time off.

“He has been trying to be as normal as possible,” the insider confirmed, noting that Bieber is “trying to be super low-key about everything” despite being followed by hoards of paparazzi since he first burst onto the scene in 2009.

But it sounds like Bieber’s attempts to go under the radar haven’t exactly gone to plan, as the source claimed that “Justin is extremely burnt out and just needs a break.” His closest friends and family members are allegedly serious about getting Justin help before he spirals into a breakdown.

“The situation is serious,” Entertainment Tonight’s source said, “and no one is taking it lightly.”

Justin Bieber has raised more than a few eyebrows in recent months, most recently hitting the headlines after TMZ claimed that he was allegedly involved in a brawl outside a hotel in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 8.

The reported incident was just one of a string of events that suggested Bieber isn’t as happy as he once appeared and could be on the road to a breakdown, including Justin’s admission that he would no longer be taking photos with fans because it makes him feel inhuman.

Justin took to Instagram on May 10 to tell his millions of followers that he would no longer be snapping selfies with any of his millions of fans because it makes him “feel like a zoo animal” and he wants to “be able to keep [his] sanity.”

“I wanna enjoy life and not be a slave to the world and their demands of what they think I need to do,” Bieber wrote in his lengthy social media post. “I love the fact that I am able to make people happy, but c’mon, if you truly were in my position you would understand how tiring it is.”

The decision followed Bieber’s announcement that he would also be canceling all meet and greets on his most recent tour, which caused outrage with concert goers who had paid hundreds of dollars for the privilege to meet Bieber before his shows.

“[I] want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression,” Bieber told fans on Instagram, after which the Daily Mail claimed that fans hoping to meet Justin were instead asked to pose with a cardboard cut-out of the singer.

“The pressure of meeting people’s expectations of what I’m supposed to be is so much for me to handle and a lot on my shoulder,” Bieber added on Instagram. “[I] wish it wasn’t so hard on me… And I want to stay in the healthy mindset.”

Bieber also used social media to slam award shows following the 2016 Billboard Music Awards last month, where he posted a lengthy rant about how he finds the events “so hollow.”

“I don’t feel good when I’m there nor after,” Bieber said. “When I look in the audience I see a bunch of fake smiles so that when the camera hits them they look happy… I just think to myself if I’m living my purpose I want the reward to be fulfillment.”

Although Bieber was present at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, where he performed and was presented with the award for Top Male Artist, Justin was noticeably absent from the red carpet.

Just days earlier, Bieber hit the headlines again after E! News reported that he was spotted by a number of onlookers walking barefoot while feeding squirrels at a park in Boston, Massachusetts.
