Man Calls Cop After Prostitute Raises Price
What do you do when you’re in the middle of a monetary dispute regarding an illegal activity? Call the cops? A 45-year-old man from Southeast Michigan called the police after a 19-year-old prostitute decided to raise the price for her services.
According to MSNBC, the man told police that he had met the woman online and that they agreed to meet at a house in Ann Arbor, Michigan. When the woman arrived the man paid her the agreed upon sum. But before he received the agreed upon services the woman informed him that the price had gone up.
Refusing to pay the prostitute any additional money the man decided to phone the police. According to AnnArbor.com, the incident was called in as a robbery.
Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said that the man and the woman gave conflicting reports about the incident. The woman was eventually taken into custody. The man was not arrested.
Bush added that the incident was still under investigation and that the Washtenaw County prosecutors would have to sort through the two stories to decide if the man will also be charged.
