Was Yolanda Foster Fired From ‘RHOBH,’ Or Given A Season 7 Lyme Disease Ultimatum?

Has Yolanda Foster been left out of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 cast after feuding with her co-stars over her Lyme disease during Season 6?

While it will likely be several more months before Bravo announces the official Season 7 cast, rumors are swirling in regard to Yolanda Foster’s future with the show, one of which claims she’s been booted from the series.

Last week, Tamara Tattles claimed Yolanda Foster was “out” after starring on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in a full-time role since Season 3.

Throughout The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6, Yolanda Foster shared her battle with Lyme disease with the many viewers of the show. While the issue had been discussed before, it became a hot topic after Taylor Armstrong and Lisa Rinna were seen discussing the ongoing speculation into how authentic her struggles really were.

Although the cast of the series, including Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, and Erika Girardi, made it clear that they did not truly think she was faking her illness, the issue remained a hot topic for the entirety of the season, as did the Lyme disease diagnosis of her children, Bella and Anwar Hadid.

In addition to her struggles with Lyme disease, Yolanda Foster also faced a divorce during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6, which she admitted during the reunion would likely have never happened if it wasn’t for her health issues.

Yolanda Foster also addressed her split from David Foster during an appearance on The Dr. Oz Show after the sixth season came to an end.

“The patient suffers, but the caretakers suffer too. Because life doesn’t only change for us, it changes for the person next to you,” Yolanda Foster explained, according to a report by Us Weekly in March.

“At the end of the day, David never changed, I changed,” Yolanda Foster continued. “Unfortunately, these are the cards that life dealt me. It wasn’t by choice. But I’m not the woman I used to be and I probably will never be again. My focus, my energy goes to trying to get well, trying to make a difference, trying to find a cure for my children … and David’s life is really traveling, going to concerts, loud music. And I mean, I couldn’t, I can barely listen to the radio.”

Yolanda Foster was married to David Foster for four years before they announced their plans for divorce on December 1, 2015, which was, ironically, the same day as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 premiere.

Although Tamara Tattles claims Yolanda Foster will not be back for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7, there may still be hope for her future with Bravo. After all, a second report claims Yolanda Foster has been asked back — but with an ultimatum.

“Lyme disease is off the table for [Yolanda Foster’s] storyline,” a source told InTouch Weekly on June 6. “The viewers are tired of hearing about it, and Yolanda was very unhappy about the turn of events. Yolanda said she wanted to raise awareness about Lyme disease and producers understand her position.”

“Instead, Bravo gave Yolanda an ultimatum — her storyline this season will be looking for love since she is now single,” the source explained. “[Yolanda Foster] didn’t want to expose that part of her life to the public, but in the end, [she] caved in to Bravo’s demands because she wanted to be a part of the show.”
