Blake Shelton recently released “She’s Got A Way With Words,” and fans have been speculating about just which woman in his life plays the key role in the song, noted Taste Of Country.
Hint: It’s probably not Gwen Stefani. Instead, on his If I’m Honest album, “She’s Got a Way With Words” may provide clues about what happened in his marriage to Miranda Lambert, particularly given some of the lyrics. In addition, Shelton has confessed that If I’m Honest describes what happened to him in the past year.
“She put a big F-U in my future / Yeah she’s got a way, she’s got a way with words.”

By selecting “She’s Got a Way With Words” as the next single from If I’m Honest, the speculation about Lambert as the target has heated up, noted the Boot.
Although the country music superstar did not write the lyrics, the fact that the focus is on a nasty split and the ex involved makes comparisons inevitable to Miranda.
“She put the her in hurt / She put the why in try / She put the S.O.B. in sober / She put the hang in hangover.”
As for his relationship with Stefani, the 46-year-old singer and Shelton have reportedly been contemplating marriage and babies amid arguments about how much of their romance should be displayed on social media, according to the International Business Times.
Stefani made a fashion statement on Sunday, taking her three little boys (Kingston, Zuma and Apollo) to church with her. As for those pregnancy rumors, Gwen flaunted her whittled waistline and toned tummy in a sleeveless white t-shirt with cutouts, complemented by a knee-length skirt in a floral pattern. Add in a ponytail and sky-high heels, and the singer wowed.
First, Shelton feels that constantly flaunting their romance on social media is a turn-off to some of their fans. In addition, Blake wants to avoid the risk of cheapening their love, desiring to reserve their private romantic moments for themselves.
A source told InTouch that Blake staged the “social media intervention” because he wants to protect Stefani. And the more serious their relationship gets, the more protective Shelton becomes.
“He’s asked Gwen to stop posting so many selfies of them,” clarified the insider.
Known for his desire to keep his life private, Shelton is increasingly uncomfortable with Stefani’s tendency to share everything on social media. And the disagreement marks a milestone in their relationship: It’s their first fight, added the source.
“He just wants to keep their special moments private. It’s the first time they’ve disagreed about something.”
However, Stefani likes to have their romance public because of the horrifying cheating scandal she experienced when she discovered her now ex-husband Gavin Rossdale was having an affair with the family nanny.
“[Gwen feels more secure] when Blake makes public proclamations about their relationship,” explained the insider. “He knows that the public needs to be a part of their love story. He just doesn’t want to constantly share all these pictures of them kissing or hanging out backstage.”
And when it comes to their love story, Shelton still marvels at his romance with Stefani, reported Rolling Stone.
As for when they might take their love to the next level, a source told Us Weekly that Blake is ready to propose.
“Blake could propose to Gwen very soon. Gwen is everything he wants.”
Moreover, Shelton adores Stefani’s three sons, and it’s mutual. Blake had once dreamed of having a family life with Miranda, and now he has fulfilled that dream with Gwen.
“With Gwen, Blake has the family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda,” revealed the source. “Her kids love him as much as she does.”
As for all those pregnancy rumors, Shelton does want to add to that family, and Stefani agrees.
“Blake wants kids of his own,” added the source. “And Gwen is willing to try!”
