‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Tracy Give Sabrina Her Baby And Her Friendship Back Permanently?

Teresa Castillo is back on General Hospital in her role as Sabrina Santiago, and things have become even more complicated for her character. She is now in trouble with the Port Charles Police Department after going on the run with Carlos Rivera, but she is also in hot water with Tracy Quartermaine as well.

Sabrina just wants to spend some time with her baby son before she has to deal with the law, but Tracy was giving her a hard time for leaving town with a known criminal. On Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital, the two women had it out. As Soap Opera Spy pointed out, Tracy is now the child’s legal guardian and has named him Edward. You would think that she would have been compassionate enough to give the baby back to his mother, but that didn’t happen right away. In fact, she did the complete opposite.

Once Tracy saw Sabrina near her son, she lost it. She lashed out at Sabrina as she reached for her child. It is strange how Tracy has been acting lately. She doesn’t usually bond too well with anyone, especially someone else’s child. The moment that Sabrina’s baby showed up on her doorstep, she had taken him in and immediately became his legal guardian. She had no idea that his mother would show up so soon and want him back.

What is going on with Tracy that she threw such a fuss about allowing Sabrina to take her baby back? These two women had become friends before Sabrina left town, so it stands to reason that she would be happy that this baby has his mother back. However, she wasn’t thrilled at all. As Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital unfolded, viewers found out that Tracy wasn’t just upset that Sabrina had put herself and her unborn child in danger, but that her new BFF had left town without saying a word to her.

Sabrina wasn’t in Port Charles when Tracy had her bout with brain worms, and she could have died. That was on her mind when she asked Tracy if that was the reason for her anger.

“Are you angry with me because I wasn’t here for you or because I wasn’t dependent on you?”

Tracy responded by saying that “friends don’t disappear and friends say goodbye, at the very least.”

Yes, the snarky Quartermaine daughter was hurt that the one friend she thought she could count on had deserted her. Tracy’s sons, Ned and Dillon, had commented on how odd it was that their mother found a friend in Sabrina in the first place. It was kind of nice to see that friendship bloom between them, which can be a rare occurrence on General Hospital.

It is true that Tracy doesn’t make friends easily, and that is why she is so angry with Sabrina for not telling her that she was taking off and leaving town. It stands to reason that once her son was dropped off on her doorstep, Tracy saw this as an opportunity to bond with her child.

Sabrina was trying to protect her baby by having her aunt make the trip to Port Charles to drop him off to the people she knew would take good care of him until she could reunite with him. She had no idea that Tracy would take steps to be his legal guardian and then make it so difficult to get him back. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Sabrina apologized and explained that she knew that her son would be safe and sound with the one person that she trusted the most. She then told Tracy what she named him. After Tracy told her that she gave him the name of Edward after her dad, Sabrina then admitted that her baby’s official name is Edwardo (Eduardo), also named after the Quartermaine patriarch. The look on Tracy’s face said it all.

The show ended with Tracy handing baby Eddy over to his mother, but it may be that this is only temporary. It would be great to see these two women of General Hospital continue their friendship, and maybe Tracy can help Sabrina with her legal troubles as well. A spoiler for next week put out by Soap Central said that Tracy will make some type of proposal. Does this have anything to do with Sabrina getting her child back in her arms for good?
