Jessica Alba Haircut: Actress Goes ‘Sin City Blonde’ [Photos]

Jessica Alba and her new haircut will be on-display in Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, according to The Huffington Post. In order to properly make the transition, Alba changed her hair from brown to “Sin City blonde,” though, as HP points out, the coloring is more ombre.

While embarking on this transformation, Alba did what most people in Hollywood do these days: She documented the entire process on Twitter. In addition to posting some photographs, Alba uploaded a quick video, which features the Idle Hands co-star bidding farewell to her brown hair.

The Daily Mail reports that Alba will reprise her role in the sequel to Sin City, a motion picture which found the actress portraying Nancy Callahan, an exotic dancer with a heart of gold. The film is currently scheduled to hit North American theaters on October 3, 2013.

After stylists were done having their way with her hair, Alba embarked on a lunch date with her family. According to Babble, the actress was spotted with husband Cash Warren and their two daughters at restaurant in Beverly Hills. Those who happened to be dining in the eatery at the time got a chance to see Jessica Alba’s new haircut for themselves.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For isn’t the only project Alba has lined up with filmmaker Robert Rodriguez. Next year, the actress will reprise her role as Sartana in the action flick Machete Kills, which also stars Danny Trejo and Mel Gibson.

In an effort to change things up a bit, Alba will star in A.C.O.D., a comedy starring Adam Scott, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jane Lynch, Catherine O’Hara, and Amy Poehler. 2013 is shaping up to be a busy year for the actress.
