Selena Gomez has been looking fit and fierce for her upcoming Revival World Tour. But that hasn’t stopped the pop star from eating junk food and sweets every so often.
Selena Gomez opened up to Elle about her workout schedule for her tour. Don’t expect this singer to be on a model diet. The reason why Gomez has been working out more often is that so she can feel energized and alive for her shows.
“I’m horrible at discipline when it comes to working out. I’m one of those people who’s like, ‘Ah, I ran for five minutes. I think I’m good.’ Not the best, so I’ve been working with my trainer Amy Rosoff Davis for a year now, and when we started the tour, I really wanted to keep it up. I wanted to be healthy; I wanted to feel good. I just wanted to make sure I was the best I could be for the show and for my fans.”
Selena credits her personal trainer for staying on top of her fitness and diet goals. The reason? Sel admits that she has a hard time committing to her workouts and that she likes to eat junk food every now and then, just like the rest of us. Of course, Amy isn’t cool with it, so she suggests that Selena should snack on fruits or vegetables instead.
In an interview with Bon Appétit magazine, the 23-year-old singer and actress says that she likes to have water with pickles, but she would much rather eat Hot Cheetos and chocolate. Selena will also request chicken pot pie, Gatorade, Red Bull, and a “good plate of fried chicken,” but those are no longer options on her menu. The one beverage Selena still sticks with is coffee to help keep her hyped on tour.
“Amy is actually on the road with me, which is really great because she’s the person who comes in when I’m like, ‘I don’t feel like it.’ She’s like, ‘No, you’re getting up and you’re working out.’ We’ll do hikes. We have a Pilates machine. I have a sweat bed, which looks like a burrito that I wrap myself up in, and I sweat for about 45 minutes. Just little things to kind of keep me healthy and keep me focused.”
So, what is a burrito sweat bed and what does it look like? The “Hands to Myself” singer said that it’s something that can be purchased, probably for a hefty price. Gomez explained the process of this lengthy sweat session.
“No, you can actually buy it. I started going to a place called Shape House, and you lay in these beds in a sweatsuit, and they wrap you up and you sweat for 45 minutes and it releases all the toxins of your body, and you kind of feel…kind of the equivalent of a sauna, but it gets your heart rate up, and it gets everything flowing in your body. It’s changed my skin, it’s kind of changed my body as well, so it feels really good. That’s kind of been something that works for me personally.”
Selena Gomez can make sitting in your sweat look sexy. She can also make eating junk food and sweets, such as s’mores, oh-so-seductive. Selena took to Snapchat to share some clips of herself and her friends hanging out on a rooftop around a fire pit. It’s hard for fans to notice when Selena is seen twirling and dancing in a sexy pink slip.

Selena started her Revival World Tour earlier this month. She will continue to perform in various cities throughout Canada until the end of May. Then she will head back to the U.S. in July and carry on with her tour.
