Star Wars Episode VIII May Reveal Jedi Temple And Millennium Falcon As New Pictures Leaked

With the production of Star Wars Episode VIII in full swing, the spoilers and rumors are starting to roll out about what the sets and props will look like. Although photos of the Millennium Falcon have been previously released, new photos of the movie are starting to emerge and may give clues to the story line of the next episode in the trilogy.

iDigital Times reported that the final scene of Star Wars: The Force Awakens may be also be the opening for the new movie. In the final scene of the movie, Daisy Ridley’s character Rey comes face to face with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. Skywalker had disappeared, and the Resistance were trying to locate him before the First Order found him. Rey had previously found Skywalker’s light saber, and appears to be the heir apparent to both Luke and Anakin Skywalker as the light saber called to her.

As previously reported in The Inquisitr, plenty of rumors swirled around Star Wars: The Force Awakens before it was released. Rumors about Star Wars Episode VIII started before The Force Awakens was even released. While some of the rumors were considered ridiculous, like Jar Jar Binks returning as the Lord Sith, other rumors seemed more plausible as in the case of Hayden Christensen returning to reprise his role as Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker. Although the studio has never given a formal answer, there’s the possibility that Hayden Christensen may show up in Star Wars Episode VIII.

Several photos were posted on the Making Star Wars board on Imgur that give the impression that the Millenium Falcon is at the location of the Jedi Temple. The production for the final scenes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was done at Pinewood Studios in England.

Although it may be clear where the photos were shot, they give no clues as to what part that the scenes will play in the movie. Speculation is that since the Millennium Falcon is in the same place as it was at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens that the scene will actually recommence in the beginning of Star Wars Episode VIII.

The Mary Sue reported that Star Wars unveiled the look of a female imperial. This is the latest canonical edition, and it’s relates to author Claudia Gray’s Lost Star Wars. Her book is part of the release of the Journey to the Force Awakens series of books released for young adults.

In the latest release it tells the story of two young people who fall in love during the events of the original trilogy. Sadly, they end up on opposite sides during the events of the story as one is a member of the Rebels while the other is part of the Imperials. The couple struggle to be together while being on different sides of the conflict.

Fantasy Flight Games and The Star Wars Show also released the first official image of character Ciena Ree, who is a graduate of the Imperial Academy and also a commander of a Star Destroyer. Her Star Destroyer actually participated in the battle on Jakku in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and the remnants of the battle are a place where Rey often scavenges.

Fans will have to wait for until December 2017 for the release of Star Wars VIII, although Disney plans to release a new movie every year. The next Star Wars movie to be released will be Rogue One, an anthology movie.
