Katy Perry Confirms Dating Orlando Bloom With Adorable Instagram Post
Just recently, the 31-year-old singer shared an adorable photo with the 39-year-old British heartthrob on her Instagram account. This could be her way of letting everyone know that she is indeed dating the actor who played Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The couple, who were still in their bedroom robes, were spotted sprawled on the steps of a luxury hotel. The “Fireworks” hitmaker captioned the photo “we cannes’t.”
Katy Perry posted her first official photo with her new boyfriend on Instagram a day after amfAR’s 23rd annual Cinema Against AIDS Gala. The Grammy Award-winning singer attended the event together with Orlando Bloom, but they sat at separate tables.
According to Entertainment Tonight, some photographers caught the songstress photobombing the actor and clutching his hand. An eyewitness revealed to People that the new couple was super lovey-dovey the whole night.
“They were kissing and holding hands and dancing together the entire time,” their source said.
“If anything dramatic happened earlier this month, you definitely couldn’t tell. They looked like they couldn’t be happier,” the insider added.
A while ago, there were reports coming out that Orlando Bloom has been cheating on Katy Perry with her friend Selena Gomez.
“He was clearly trying not to be recognized at the club when this was happening, as he was trying to keep a low profile under a dark baseball cap,” their source said.
TMZ was able to access CCTV images of Selena and Orlando’s alleged hookup in the Las Vegas club. According to an insider, the two got very touchy feely then they started neck-nuzzling and embracing in the VIP booth. However, the “Hands to Myself” hitmaker walked back to her room alone, which means that nothing happened between them that night.
Bloom and Gomez have been romantically linked in the past, but a source told ET that the two are just good friends. They also share the same manager maybe that’s why the actor was at her Las Vegas party to show her support. The insider also revealed that Gomez is very touchy-feely, so the hugging may just be a friendly gesture.
“Katy and Orlando are very in love and doing great,” their source assured their fans.

ET shared photos of Perry and Bloom kissing on the boat, and they looked very happy together, which means that they were not affected by the cheating rumors.
“Katy and Orlando are the real deal and are totally in love. We’ve never seen Katy this happy and so smitten,” their source revealed. “They are head over heels for each other.”
This isn’t first time that the new couple went on a romantic getaway. The lovely couple were caught holding hands while hiking in Hawaii on February. The hunky actor may have accompanied her in Maui, where she performed in a private event.
“They looked very loved up and really into each other,” an insider said. “They were comfortable letting everyone see them as a couple — lots of PDA and hand-holding.”
Despite the cheating rumors, the relationship of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom seems to be getting stronger. The adorable Instagram post is a proof of that, and fans may see more of that from the singer soon.
