Withings WiFi Scale Lets Your iPhone Tell You Your Fat

Traditional scales were so easy and convenient, you simply stepped on them and they told you your weight. That’s not the case with the WiFi Scale from Withing, a device that offers your weight, fat mass, lean mass and even your body mass index.

The scale works by first taking your traditional weight, then using small electrical currents to measure the rest of your bodies imperfections, or perfections if you happen to be Megan Fox.

The device then passes that information along to your home computer using Wi-Fi or if you’re an enterprising iPhone user via the available iPhone app. Users can then track their bodies changes over time using convenient plotted graphs and other output information.

The Withing Wi-Fi scale costs around $180, although the WiFi and iPhone services are free to use at will. [via GadgetCrave]
