Khloe Kardashian Wants Lamar Odom In Rehab And Hopes Kanye West Can Help?

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom may be married, but the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is reportedly planning to refile for divorce in the coming months, and as she nears the end of her marriage, she’s hoping Odom will seek treatment for his addiction issues.

After Odom suffered a drug overdose in October 2015, Khloe Kardashian and her family rushed to be by his side and throughout his recovery, the Kardashian family has been spending tons time with Odom as he continues to strive to regain his health. However, while Odom appeared to be on the verge of a reconciliation with Khloe Kardashian earlier this year, he has since returned to drinking, which is said to be a major disappointment for the reality star.

Earlier this month, X17 Online shared photos of Odom drinking at the Beverly Center mall in West Hollywood, California, and a short time later, Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter, where she shared a number of tweets which appeared to be aimed at Odom’s behavior.

“SMH,” she wrote in one.

“People disappoint,” she wrote in another.

As her concern for Odom continues, Khloe Kardashian has reportedly reached out to Kanye West in hopes of having the rapper convince Odom to go to rehab.

“[Khloe Kardashian] doesn’t really know who else to turn to to talk some sense into Lamar. She’s hoping Kanye will have a few words with him. She knows Kanye can be very convincing. Khloe wants Kanye to encourage him to get professional help from an addiction expert, even if that means going to rehab,” an insider told Hollywood Life on May 16. “At this point, Khloe has nothing to lose in having Kanye try and inspire Lamar to get the help he needs.”

As Odom revealed on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, West played a major role in his recovery, as he often visited him at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he treated him to songs from his new album, The Life of Pablo.

Khloe Kardashian and Odom tied the knot in September 2009 and in December 2013, Kardashian filed for divorce. However, due to the proceedings being delayed, their divorce hadn’t been finalized when Odom overdosed, and after filing to have their petition thrown out in order to keep Kardashian in charge of Odom’s health and recovery, they remained married.

Now that Odom is able to live on his own, Khloe Kardashian is preparing to divorce once again, and soon she will officially be a single woman.

“She doesn’t agree with some of Lamar’s choices in the past few weeks,” a source told People Magazine in April. “She plans on refiling for divorce soon. She and Lamar are just figuring out the finances first.”

“[Khloe Kardashian] was there for Lamar when he needed her,” continued the source. “She spent months making sure he got the best care and was able to recover. Lamar was her main focus, and it was draining for her. Lamar is ready to be on his own now.”

Amid news of Odom’s drinking, Khloe Kardashian took to Instagram, where she shared a telling message with her many fans and followers.

“Letting go doesn’t mean that you don’t care about someone anymore. It’s just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself,” she wrote. “We have to learn to stop taking on peoples problems as if they are our own. Loving people does not mean we have to carry their burdens and confusions on our back.”
