While JoJo Fletcher prepares for the upcoming season of The Bachelorette , revelations continue to emerge about some of the show’s contestants. In fact, one of the suitors has a criminal past that includes prowling and loitering. Considering Fletcher’s previous dealings with bad boy types, there is a possibility that she will look past criminal backgrounds when The Bachelorette airs later this month.
According to Radar Online , Alexander Woytkiw was arrested in Florida back in 2011 and charged with prowling and loitering. Police officers responded to a call at a sorority house and found “two males crouched in the bushes on the northeast corner of the house.” Woytkiw was one of the men involved in the incident and was carrying a hammer when police arrived.

Although Woytkiw first claimed innocence, he later confessed that he and his friend had planned to remove some of the letters on the side of the sorority house. Instead, they were caught, arrested, and found guilty of the crime.
“Woytkiw admitted going to Chi Omega with the intent of taking the sorority letters off of the house,” court documents revealed. Woytkiw stated he “saw the security officer come around the corner and hid in the bushes up until the point that he confronted them.”
Woytkiw has not commented on the matter, although he did fulfill the requirements the judge set aside for the crime. While Woytkiw’s relationship with Fletcher is unknown, there is a chance that she isn’t bothered by his criminal background. After all, Fletcher has previously dated guys with shady pasts.
Before her time on The Bachelor , JoJo Fletcher dated Chad Rookstool. According to OK! Magazine , Rookstool and Fletcher were very serious, despite his criminal past that far outweighs anything that Woytkiw did.

Back in the spring of 2003, Rookstool was charged with theft after his employer discovered that he had stolen $100 from his Nordstrom store in Texas. Rookstool eventually fessed up to the crime and admitted that he had done wrong.
Eyewitnesses noticed Rookstool “ring up a refund on a pair of sunglasses valued at $90” without a customer “present for the refund.” After his employer caught him in the act, Rookstool “removed $20 bills from his front pocket” and admitted to the crime.
“Rookstool said he took the money because he did not have money to pay his bills,” the police reports read. “Rookstool stated he had taken money about five times.”
Despite his dark past, Fletcher and Rookstool started dating and even got serious before their split. For her part, Fletcher moved on to appear on The Bachelor and made it to the very end before Ben Higgins rejected her for Lauren Bushnell .
Now, as Fletcher tries once again to find true love on The Bachelorette , it isn’t clear which contestant she is setting her eyes on. While she might be attracted to Woytkiw’s bad boy status, College Candy is reporting that Fletcher has plenty of options to choose from.
Filming for the new season is almost complete, and producers have already revealed that some of the guys did their best to make a great first impression. This includes one suitor showing up wearing a unicorn mask, one guy locking lips with Fletcher on the first night, and another bringing Fletcher a nice bottle of wine to swig down.
Considering how Fletcher has her pick of 20 different men, the new season of The Bachelorette is definitely going to get interesting. Fortunately for Fletcher, it won’t be long before Higgins is a distant memory.
The upcoming season of The Bachelorette is set to premiere May 23 on ABC.
