Chris Evans And Jenny Slate Are Hollywood’s New ‘It’ Couple

Chris Evans and Jenny Slate are officially dating. Jenny Slate has moved on from her split with husband-filmmaker Dean Fleischer-Camp and is now dating Captain America star Chris Evans.

According to Us Weekly, the couple have been dating since at least March. In fact, the pair were spotted out on a double date with Chris Evan’s brother Scott Evans at Magnolia around that time.

While this seems like an odd pairing, no one seems to be too surprised, as it was evident that sparks were flying on actress Anna Faris’ podcast Unqualified. During the podcast, it was obvious that there was chemistry between Chris Evans and Jenny Slate. The two who appeared on the show last month had a joint interview together, but they never discussed the fact that they were dating each other.

That said, Slate was very open with having preconceived notions before she met Evans on the set of their new film Gifted.

“I didn’t know what to expect when I met Chris. I was a little scared because I kind of felt like, Well, I don’t know him. He’s a giant man with huge muscles and he’s Captain America. How could we ever connect?”

Slate continued, “[But the] first night that we hung out, I was like, Wow, I could hang out with Chris for, like, 90 hours.”

Evans, Mr. Captain America himself shared the same notion while on the podcast.

“Oddly enough, I’ve only known Jenny for a few months, which is insane to say because we’re like the same animal.”

Before dating Jenny Slate, Chris Evans had been linked to practically everyone in Hollywood. Just this month, Evans was “accused” of staring at Elizabeth Olsen’s breasts at the Captain America: Civil War premiere. The two also palled around on the set of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, so that also got people talking, but as it turned out, it was just some fun Marvel antics.

Prior to that, Evans was linked to actress Jennifer Lawrence. According to Hollywood Life, the two went on a few dates together.

“They’ve only gone on two dates so far, but they have been texting each other and talking on the phone. They even had a pizza and movie date at Jen’s place. Amy had actually been pushing Jen to date him, telling her how hot Chris is and how crazy she’d be if she didn’t go for it.”

Either way, this alleged romance, which hit the newsstands in the beginning of the year, seemed like a rebound for Evans, who had split from actress Lily Collins. Chris and Lily hooked up back in March of 2015, but that seemed just as short because Collins was back with boyfriend Jamie Campbell-Bower by May of the same year.

As for Jenny Slate, Us Weekly announced this month that she and her husband were splitting up after almost four years of marriage. According to a source that spoke to the magazine, the split “wasn’t a bad breakup.” It’s said that the two just grew apart as people. It’s not known how long the two were broken up before the news got out of their impending divorce.

As for the new hot couple, fans seem to be enjoying this new pair.
