Deadpool ‘Deadpole’ Commercial Spoofs Erectile Dysfunction Ads [Video]

It seems like everywhere you turn, erectile dysfunction has become the butt of jokes in entertainment. As reported by the Inquisitr, in the new movie called Bad Moms, Kristen Bell’s character jokes in the NSFW red-band trailer about her husband being a “never hard” – a man whom she describes as one who must have his manhood folded like origami for sex.

Now Deadpool is getting in on the erectile dysfunction action by creating the below Deadpool commercial with the hashtag #Deadpole, a video that has swelled to more than 1.8 million views on YouTube since being uploaded on May 5.

The title and description of the ad suggest trying the provocative Deadpool movie in order to help correct ED.

“Need a little hand? Try Deadpool. #Deadpole: The Only Superhero Movie That Tries To Give You Harder, Longer Lasting Emotions. #Deadpole

“You’re closer now than ever,” begins the voiceover of the Deadpool ad announcer, sounding just like a man who would voice a Cialis or Viagra commercial. A woman tosses an apple happily in the air while the Deadpool character strokes the leg of a wooden chair suggestively. Prior to that, the woman climbed on the side of a horse pen, with Deadpool coming along to help her from behind, in one of those “meet cute” type of instances that is being parodied by the Deadpool ad.

The whole viral Deadpool video concept is to promote the fact that the Deadpool movie is already available to watch on Digital HD, with the Deadpool movie arriving on Blu-ray and DVD on May 10.

The side effects of watching Deadpool may include joint paint, easy bruising, vomiting, or passing clay-colored stool, jokes the commercial. Scenes of the couple preparing to paint or stain a wooden chair are interspersed with them walking in a field and blowing dandelion fluff into the air.

Another scene from the viral Deadpool commercial shows provocative play with a banana being peeled and slowly eaten. Quips about experiencing hair loss, skin sores, and irritability could reveal that you may actually be Deadpool, so says the Deadpool commercial.

As for an erection lasting longer than four hours, you’re welcome, quips the Deadpool announcer – instead of issuing warnings about going to the emergency room.

The Deadpool ad itself is less than 30 seconds long, but viewers can’t get enough of watching the commercial that displays Deadpool stroking the chair leg and ending up in the same bathtub with the woman with his legs spread akimbo.

The description of the viral video explains Ryan Reynolds’ role in the movie as a man whose world gets turned upside-down when Ajax, an evil scientist played by Ed Skrein, makes Ryan’s character Deadpool.

“Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.”

The Deadpool movie created a big level of buzz when it was released in theaters, with lots of talk of the sexual situations involved in the film. With the DVD set to release on Tuesday, the Deadpool movie is now back in headlines and creating more buzz.

There’s a giant Deadpool statue in Japan, reports Kotaku. The publication has posted photos of folks who have snapped pics with the jumbo-sized Deadpool character, as the reclining statue rests on its side. Nearly 23 feet long, the Deadpool statue makes quite the photo opportunity subject.
