Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Headed For A Split? Why She Banned Brad From Hanging Out With Ben Affleck

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continue to fight off rumors of a coming split. While Jolie’s weight loss takes center stage in the controversy, the actress has reportedly banned Pitt from hanging out with Ben Affleck. What are the reasons behind her decision?

According to International Business Times, Jolie believes that Affleck is a bad influence on her husband. Considering how Affleck is now a single man since his split with Jennifer Garner, she is also afraid that Pitt will act as his wingman if they go out for a night on the town.

“Brad, in particular, is excited to have someone to go drinking with, [but] Angie thinks Ben is a terrible influence,” a source explained. “Angie thinks Ben’s single status spells trouble. She doesn’t want Brad playing wingman, so he’ll be on a very short leash.”

Pitt and Jolie are currently living in London while the World War Z star works on a new project. Affleck is also in the area working on the new Justice League films, and had plans on hanging out with Pitt. Unfortunately, it does not sound as though Jolie is going to let her husband hang out with Affleck without her supervision.

As fans will recall, Affleck announced his surprising divorce from Garner last year, after ten years and three kids together. Although the true reason why they called it quits is unknown, reports circulated that the Batman v Superman star had an affair with their children’s nanny.

Ever since Affleck and Garner broke up, Affleck has remained an important figure in Garner’s life. In fact, along with remaining in close contact with his estranged wife, fans have spotted the family together in public on numerous occasions.

Considering Affleck’s recent split, Jolie might have good reasons to prevent her husband from spending too much time with him. After all, the two have enough on their plate without having to worry about a third party coming in and shaking things up. With their own marriage on the verge of a split, Affleck could prove to be the final straw in their relationship.

That being said, neither party has officially commented on the issue, and there are not hints that Affleck and Pitt truly had plans to hang out. Even further, Gossip Cop claims that the reports are entirely false and that Angelina Jolie is not banning Pitt from doing anything. In fact, a source revealed to the outlet that there is “no truth” to the rumors.

Apparently, Pitt and Affleck are simply shooting different films, and it is only coincidence that they are in London at the same time. Furthermore, there appears to be no plans for a mutual get-together at any point during their stay in London.

Of course, this is not the first rumor to surface about Jolie’s relationship with Pitt. According to Movie News Guide, the couple’s marriage has been under fire in recent months for a variety of reasons. For the most part, the biggest issue between the two center on Jolie’s rapid weight loss, though reports of Pitt venturing outside of their relationship for romance have also cropped up.

Whatever the truth of the matter, it is clear that Jolie and Pitt are doing their best to remain together. Whether or not this means that Pitt will stay away from Affleck in the coming weeks is yet to be seen.

While Pitt and Jolie fight off rumors of a split, they are residing in London with their entire family. They made the temporary move so they could enjoy time together while Pitt works on his newest movie.

However, there are some hints that they might make London a permanent home, though that has not been confirmed.
