Who’s performing?
There’s no doubting that the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards will be all about the huge performances from some of country music’s biggest and most recognizable superstars.

Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles and Cam are set to open the awards show with a performance of McBride’s 2003 single “This One’s For the Girls.” Speaking out about the big awards show performance in a statement earlier this month, Martina admitted that she looks forward to performing the track because it “resonates with so many different people of all different ages.”

“With Jennifer and Cam joining me for the first time, the song will be even more fun and I’m so happy we’ll be performing this together,” McBride added to Billboard.

Also scheduled to perform at the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards? Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Cam, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Chris Janson, Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell.

While most of the long list of performers have so far stayed mum on which tracks they’ll be hitting the stage to perform, Kelsea Ballerini teased on Twitter on April 29 that she’ll be hitting the American Country Countdown stage to perform her 2015 hit “Dibs.”

Producer David Wild also promised a stellar performance from Carrie Underwood on the social media site, tweeting out on April 29, “Just now, @carrieunderwood rehearsed a performance you DON’T want to miss Sunday on @FOXTV’s @ACCAs #ACCAs #GoPreds!”

Wild didn’t confirm exactly what Underwood will be singing, though it’s thought that the country superstar will perform her new single, “Church Bells.”

Who’s presenting the awards?
Presenters at the American Country Countdown awards aren’t just limited to country music’s biggest names, as American Country Countdown have also brought in a number of huge stars from the world of pop music, TV and movies.

Currently scheduled to present awards are Matthew McConaughey, Luke Wilson, Paula Abdul, Chase Bryant, Terry Crews, Cat Deeley, Sara Evans, Trent Harmon, Jana Kramer, Chris Lane, Maddie & Tae, Scotty McCreery, Reba McEntire, Jennifer Nettles, Michael Ray, Canaan Smith, and Dwight Yoakam.

Who will win?
Brooks and Dunn will be going home the big winners at the country awards show.

American Country Countdown previously announced that the legendary country duo will be receiving the NASH Icon Award, which is given “to an artist whose extraordinary talent has influenced generations of musicians and honors the accomplishments and artistry of the recipient.” Reba McEntire is expected to present the award to the duo.

When it comes to who else will be taking home awards at the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards, fans will have to wait until the show airs live on May 1, though winners of the prestigious country music awards are determined by radio airplay charts, sales and streaming data.

As for who has the best odds of going home a winner, Taste of Country previously revealed that Luke Bryan leads the nominee list with seven nominations, while Sam Hunt comes in second with five nods.
