Blake Shelton’s Romantic Plans To Celebrate Gwen Stefani’s Divorce Revealed — Does It Involve An Engagement Ring?

Celebrations are in order for Gwen Stefani. The singer has officially finalized her divorce with Gavin Rossdale, and Blake Shelton has some big plans in mind to celebrate. While the country star gets ready to whisk Stefani away for a short vacation, will he finally pop the big question?

An inside source told Hollywood Life that Shelton is planning on taking Stefani to a romantic location to celebrate the end of her divorce. With her break-up with Rossdale officially over, the two are looking forward to whatever happens next.

“Blake is so happy for Gwen. He’s planning to whisk her away on a romantic getaway once her divorce is finalized. He has been there every step of the way helping and supporting Gwen and wants to celebrate her freedom and the next new exciting chapter in her life.”

Unfortunately, the location of the romantic getaway is still unknown. The biggest question remaining, however, is whether or not Shelton is planning on asking Stefani to marry him now that he doesn’t have to contend with her divorce. Will Shelton use their getaway to propose to Stefani?

“Blake could propose to Gwen very soon,” an insider explained. “Gwen is everything he wants.”

At this point, it’s unclear if Shelton will propose. Considering how strong their relationship is after being together since November, it’s only a matter of time before Shelton and Stefani tie the knot.

Meanwhile, Morning News is reporting that Stefani’s divorce with Rossdale marked a difficult time for the singer. Stefani first announced her split back in August after she discovered that Rossdale had cheated on her with their children’s nanny.

It took a while before the two settled on the details of the divorce, though they both got what they wanted in the end. Stefani still holds the rights to her music and fashion lines, while Rossdale kept control of the rights of his band, Bush. That being said, Stefani was awarded the trust funds for their kids.

“Rossdale shall let go all of his power and authority as trustee or settlor of the Kingston Rossdale Gift Trust and the Zuma Rossdale Gift Trust,” the court records stated. “And Stefani shall be the sole trustee and settlor of the Gift Trusts.”

Although Blake Shelton is ready to celebrate the closing of the divorce, it is still a difficult memory for Stefani. When she opened up to Us Magazine, Stefani revealed that the hardest part of her split has been breaking up her family.

“It’s still painful,” she stated. “I’m looking at the pieces and going, ‘what is happening?’ There are so many great things, but it’s still super hard to break up your family. What do you do after that? Here we are, we’re doing it.”

Of course, now that she is free from Rossdale, Stefani can marry Shelton. By the looks of their interactions during the last episode of The Voice, that might happen sooner rather than later.

According to ET Online, Stefani sang her newest track, “Misery,” on The Voice. While all of the judges on the show reacted positively to the single, Shelton couldn’t help but gush for his girlfriend and even gave her a standing ovation for the performance.

Stefani’s song is off her latest album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like and was inspired by her relationship with Shelton. This marks the second song on her album to receive such status, as Stefani previously confirmed that “Make Me Like You” was also written with Shelton in mind.

For his part, Shelton is getting ready for the release of his album, If I’m Honest. The country crooner recently showcased the cover of the album and hinted that it might be the last one he records.
