Bobby Brown Enters Rehab…Again

Singer Bobby Brown, ex-husband to the late Whitney Houston, has once again entered rehab.

The singers newest stint in rehab was confirmed by his wife, Alicia Etheredge; the couple has been married for just short of two months. Speaking to Radar Online, Etheredge says “he’s doing great.”

Brown has had a long addiction to alcohol and drugs and is largely seen as the downfall of Whitney Houston, who he was wed to from 1992 through 2007. After her death, the 48-year-old Brown denied accusations that he led Whitney towards drug and alcohol abuse. In April 2012, Brown appeared on the Today Show where he revealed:

“I think if anyone ever knew us, if anybody ever spent time around us . . . they would know how we felt about each other. They would know how happy we were together”

The singer’s new wife has not confirmed if the rehab stint is meant to battle his addiction to alcohol or other substances.

Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston had one daughter together, Bobbi Kristina, 19.

Brown and Etheredge, who also happens to be his business manager, wed in June during a trip to Hawaii; the couple had been engaged since May 2010. Brown and Etheredge have one 3-year-old child together.

Brown also has three children from previous relationships: Landon, 23; La’Princia, 22; and Bobby Jr., 19.

Bobby Brown was arrested for DUI on March 26, 2012 after allegedly using a cell phone while driving.

In a recent interview, the New Edition frontman said he had been off drugs for seven years leading up to Whitney Houston’s death.
